The WWE needs to cut raw back to 2 hours and just play NXT before it.
Raw could be amazing again if they just took the current 3 hour raw and trim the fat and cut it back to two hours. There is no need for Raw to be 3 hours when the main even show plus smackdown on Fridays, especially when it seems like they just redo some matches on RAW on smackdown again or vice versa.
They could easily put on the NXT show the hour before raw to get fans into the new talent, and they always have WWE wrestlers going to NXT anyways. IMO the best WWE show is the NXT one, its way better than Raw and SD most weeks. Its because its just promos and matches and no BS and "comedy" skits.

If Raw was cut back to two hours then we'd just lose an hour's worth of good content, since WWE prioritize the BS. I also don't agree with NXT guys being given mainstream exposure, yes it's the best WWE show by far but it's still a developmental show, those guys are on NXT and not the main roster for a reason.

Well that is the problem, the WWE needs to not prioritize the BS, and they def. cannot do that for a three hour show. Yes NXT is a dev show, but IMO it would be cool for fans to see future stars before they become stars.
The better question may be why does the WWE think people want to see the BS over the actually wrestling.

Does anyone else prefer watching Smackdown over Raw at the moment? I look forward to Raw more cos I know major storylines take place there but I feel Smackdown is a much more solid wrestling show.

Yeah, there isn't any need for BS to be on the show at all, but I don't think limiting them by having NXT instead for an hour would help. In a year or so most of the talented guys from NXT will be on the main roster anyway, 3 hours gives plenty of time for everyone to be featured if they do things right (which they probably won't).

Cutting an hour off the show would mean next to no time for the likes of Cesaro, and probably no time at all for good TV matches like Jericho v Bryan last week. I don't understand how people can claim to be fans and then want less content, you know if there was a 2 hour show it would probably be 40% Cena and about 30-40% GM/commentators/backstage fuckery, and everyone else would be lucky to get a half hour between them.

I don't care about NXT, Ambrose and Bryan were the only guys I really watched and it was on youtube, never actually seen the NXT shows when they aired. But cutting Raw back to 2 hours is a great idea, but only if they cut out the BS. Which will never happen of course, Raw sucked for years when it was only 2 hours.
