Re: Trish Was Nothing But The Female John Cena
You know what I think Trish is so overrated. I think Melina was a way better Diva, and she could have been on her way to becoming a legend if she was still with WWE and was pushed as good as Trish was. Trish was pushed from the beginning in storylines with Vince, and the Rock. She then got in a storyline with Chris Jericho, and turned heel on him at Mania. Then she had a little faction OF HER OWN with Tyson Tomko and Christian. WWE basically made her, and are now dubbing her as the greatest diva ever which is bullshit. Michelle McCool played a better heel, and was SO MUCH BETTER in the ring than her. In fact let me name ten real quick divas better in ring skills.
There you go, and thats just off the top of my head.
Promo wise, half of those are easily better. Notice how I didnt mention LITA, because Lita is miles ahead of Trish in every department, she just got fucked over royally by WWE for personal reasons. Fuck Trish Stratus, if she were to face AJ I'd root for AJ. Thats how overated she is. Dont get me wrong shes hot as fucking hell, but it pisses me off how WWE bills her as the greatest and is getting into the Hall of Fame.
Every diva that you listed there had a weakness except for Victoria and Beth Phoenix. Molly Holly was a great wrestler but was a bit bland. Same goes for Natalya to a lesser degree. Chyna and Layla can't wrestle at all. Gail was decent but couldn't get over. Michelle and Mickie had some good runs but didn't stay here long enough. Lita, while being uber over simply was a sloppy worker and I LOVED her back then (before the whole Edge-Hardy thing broke out).
Did you even watch wrestling during their time? They were about even.
You have got to be fucking kidding me.
Trish NEVER got the kind of pops that Lita did. Lita's pop at Judgment Day 2001 (against Chyna) was something else.
Just listen to that pop.
