Default Will Daniel Bryan ever be taken seriously after Hell No?

Love Team Hell No but now that it's winding down, it's time to look at what the future holds for Daniel Bryan. I love Team Hell No, but as it was stated in another thread, was the Team too cartoony? Will audiences be able to look at Goat-face in a serious light? Will he ever be taken seriously enough to be the #2 or 3 heel in the company, even? Discuss.

Of course he will. I don't want to see him as a heel particularly, though.

Personally would always see him as a serious contender because he still delivers in the ring. I actually really like him more than ever because I know now that he is a well rounded wwe talent, great wrestler, good heel, good comedian, getting better on the mic, would just like to see a good solid singles face run now.

of course he will he will still put on great matches, and if anything this Hell No team got him even more over with the fans, and fit into his gimmick anyways.

Of course. He has the wrestling ability to back it up. He would have to shave his head again though.

If he cut his hair and trimmed his beard (to a short one, not completely) he could be taken seriously 'cause he is still pretty good in the ring, and maybe after teaming with Kane he'll finally have chance to work a good, singles match with someone.

Yeah he will. The guy is probably their most talented wrestler.

The knowing Punk personally thread, while turning into a joke thread, had a lot of great stories in it, here are some of my Punk stories that didn't make the cut:

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

The WWE doesn't take him seriously no matter what he does, so he's screwed anyways.

I do have one question for anyone who might feel that Dwayne Johnson "owes" the business. Is it just him, or is it anyone who moved on to other things? Should Luna Vachon get heat for running a towing company instead of working on RAW? Should Maven be critiqued on his Home Shopping Network bits instead of wrestling?

Or is it only the ones who go on to highly visible careers in movies that owe something? Why do Johnson (who left after putting people over, doing the traditionally "right thing") and Lesnar (who did not; except for making Eddie a legitimate star) get called sell-outs who "forgot where they came from" when someone who retires to do some regular job get credit (as they should) for moving on and making it without falling into a sea of addiction?

He needs serious re-building for me to take him seriously again. He needs to go back to his look when he was World Champion, drop the comedy shit and become the submission specialist again. Better booking would also help. People will take him seriously again, but I think the YES/NO chants could stick with him for a long time along with stupid nicknames like ''Goatface''. Would be kinda funny to see him attempt to cut a serious heel promo only for people to chant YES/NO at him and continue to treat him as the comedy joke that he's most known for. Far more people, particularly the young ones in the crowd, simply know Bryan as the YES/NO man, and they don't know, or care that he's this great wrestler that's not used properly.
