When i watch this I always wonder what would have happened if Bret came out when his music hit, you would have been able to hear that from outside the building, amazing crowd that night.

I don't know but Iron Sheik and Heel SGt. Slaughter got tremendous amounts of heat back then.
Also Cena vs RvD at ECW.

People should read the OP. He is looking for promos that got HEAT. People mentioning Austin promos, he was getting a face reaction.
As for the OP, you could look up a bunch of HBK 97-98 heel promos from a pure heat aspect.

I only saw one person mention Austin, and they said '96 when he was a heel. Now did he get more heat than that promo, I don't know.
