Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

2006-2009.

Eddie had just died and was being used as an angle, the product kinda sucked anyway, plus Cena was being shoved in our faces. I just said fuck it and quit watching. Over 3 years later, I came back after my friends told me about SES Punk. He brought me back to WWE. Product still mostly sucks and I run through most of the shows still, but there are at least a few people on there I like to watch.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

Well I didnt want to stop but i had to stop watching in 2002 as my parents stopped sky sports, so i missed the years 02 03 04 05, i just used to check wwe.com for results until finally in 2006 i could download the shows for free, so i restarted in 2006 and havent missed anything since even without sky.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

2004-2011. Came back when The Rock did. Stuck around for CM Punk. Still here for Punk and The Shield. Some weeks I don't know why I even bother.

So it seems at Summerslam, Brock lesnar wants a piece of me... should I be afraid? I mean, the man ended the streak after all. But I've fought the odds time and time again... I will NEVER BACK DOWN and I will NEVER QUIT! At SummerSlam, if it's a fight that you want, it's a fight you gon' get! So Lesnar!!!! IF YOU WANT SOME COME GET SOME!!! You're all about eat, sleep, conquer the streak. But me, I'm all about HUSTLE LOYALTY AND RESPECT, JACK! So WWE universe, you can rest assured because the CHAMP IZ HEEEURRRR!!!

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

Yes. I started watching in late 2004, stopped watching in 2009 or 2010 and got back right after WM 28 because of HHH-Undertaker and Dean Ambrose.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

Stopped watching after the Toronto Wrestlemania. Cena was on a rise and i didnt care for him. Competition was dead. I also just got into University so I was busy with that. I got back into it when Bret Hart came back in 2010.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

First time was in early 06... Angle won the battle royal to be WHC when Batista was out and Khali and Rey became champions later on... something like that. Just couldn't get myself to watch anymore.

Second time was in 2011 after the pipe bomb promo. I hated the direction they were taking. The storyline could've been so much more, but instead HHH/Nash had to get involved. Also, nobody interested me anymore. For some reasons I thought everything was stupid. Fast forward to SS12, Ambrose debuted and I haven't looked back ever since. Suddenly I like everything. It also helped that I saw so many fresh faces; Cesaro, Sandow, AJ, etc.

better than the best.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

I started watching in 1992 and stopped from 2003 - 2009. Came back really early 2009. I totally missed the whole Ruthless Aggression Era.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

I had a break from wrestling from mid 2008 to early 2010. The first RAW I watched that got me back into wrestling was the Bret Hart return.

You all may make fun of people with "IT'S STILL REAL TO ME DAMN IT!" for the young kids or marks or whatever, but you guys are even worse than them. You have this deep-seeded legitimate rage for Cena and his fans to the point where you let it affect your day to day life.

Grow up. Seriously.

Re: Have you ever stopped watching wrestling?

Stopped watching WWE two or three times always for a couple of months or maybe a year at most. But never stopped watching wrestling. There is so much different content out there that when I am not happy with what one company does I still have several others to watch.

Stopped watching between 2003 and 2011, came back because of the Summer of Punk.
