He should have got in last year. I see the HoF as a joke even with Bruno getting inducted this year. Edge got in months after he retired yet Randy cant get in at all.

His brother Lanny has told WWE that Randy said that he would never be inducted unless the entire Poffo family gets in as well. Which is BS. I think Lanny just wants in the HoF.

There was a greater chance while he was alive IMO. He finally started working with WWE before his death on toys and videogames. They could've probably come to terms of HoF induction, esp. Since Randy came as a reasonable person, away from the flamboyant Nacho Man he portrayed.

Nowadays sadly, Lanny whines and wants to be a part of HoF because "Randy told him so" instead of realising that the best thing for all Randy Savage fans and WWE and probably even his family would be to let Randy Savage get inducted and come to peace with all the issues WWE had with Randy.
He doesn't even want to admit that his own career and legacy aren't worth shit, and that chances he got in WWF and WCW are because of Randy and his pull.

We all know that it is a joke. For a lot of us I think that it is about the interest of seeing WWE acknowledge Savage by inducting him in the HoF after their past relationship differences.

I really do believe that it could have happened if Savage was still alive because both sides seemed to have a deal going with video games and toys. Now I guess that it is up to WWE getting in contact with Lanny and the rest of the Poffo family and I really wish that they would.

It is still possible. If Bret Hart can return to the WWE, if WWE can reach out to Sid for RAW 1000, if WWE can come to a deal with Bruno to induct him in to the HoF, then I don't see why not for Savage. Leaping Lanny needs to keep his cool though and maybe through him his brother will one day be in the HoF.

I think it was Randy's intention to get his family in. He did the same thing with the WCW Hall of Fame which pissed off Gordon Solie.

Difference betweem Randy and Bret. Is Bret was only concerned with his legacy while Savage is concerned with his families.
