It's too small for mania.

They still haven't picked a city for it?

I can see it being New Orleans.
MSG is simply too small.
Even though Staples Center in LA has an iron grip on SummerSlam with the same amount of seats.

It would be sweet to see WM30 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena however. Or even the Coliseum at USC.
Both hold a 20k more than the Superdome. But I can't recall a WWE event ever being held outdoors at a college venue.

wm1 wm10 wm20 were all at msg, for 1 out of 10 years they should put money aside and carry that on

msg is the unofficial home of the wwe, means alot to vince, its tradition

when they do a show there, especially mania, with all those memories and history, it has that "feel" to it, plus the crowd is always great

who cares if new york gets it two years in a row, anything other than msg is epic fail

I just seriously hope they get a stadium with a roof. Past few years the crowd noise and atmosphere at times just isn't as allowed as they are being due to it just escaping. Either that or sort out the damn microphones near the crowd, I mean football games have a great atmosphere and they don't have roofs on there stadiums for god sake.

I'd love it to be at Madison Square Garden. I personally don't care about how much it holds, more of a tradition. But Vince and the WWE will care more about seats and how much money they can make. I'm all for that Superdome though that was posted, the one that has just been used for the Superbowl, right?

Roofed stadium, seats a shit load of people too.

Because WWE wants to make the most money possible. Why would they go to a arena that fits 20,000 when they could easily fill an arena that fits 70,000?

Grow up. Seriously.

WM 7 was supposed to be at the Coliseum.

Wasn't WM 26 at the Citrus Bowl? If you don't consider that a college venue I'm not sure how you can consider the Coliseum a college stadium when 3 NFL teams the Rams, Charges, and Raiders have called it home. And BTW the Coliseum isn't on USC's campus it's across the street.

As great as MSG is and would be, I think the international fans alone would fill that place. Mania needs to be in a large stadium. If they can ever get Cowboys Stadium, they'll get their 100,000 easily.

And I agree that the place needs a roof. When the sound goes straight up, it's difficult to hear it on TV and kind of kills the mood.

In time.

Since this seems like this is now the standard thing for WWE, to put Wrestlemania in these big ass stadiums, I think every single one of the big ass stadiums will get their turn eventually.

I still believe that WM30 should be held in the Gardens. That has been a tradition that has been started with WM 1, 10, 20 it only makes sense to bring it back. Wrestling has lost its sense of tradition. Just because it's held in the gardens doesn't mean WWE can't make a tonne of money. They could charge $100.00 for the nosebleed section and people will still pay because it's WM in the garden. As far as having back to back WMs in the same city a) it was done with 4 and 5 being held in Trumps plaza and b) they should have thought about that BEFORE booking WM 29.
