If you somehow don't know what it is, it's where you're guaranteed a rematch if you lose your belt.

I know it's been around for longer than most of us can remember but with all the bad fueds now, I hate it. Having to see Punk vs Rock 2 sucks and having to see more Big Show is even worse.

I did as a face but do you really wanna see him wrestle the Rock again? I'd rather him just cut a short satalite promo and let the big gold belt headline for once.

the idea is pretty bad. They use it on random matches and it never really leads to anything but a heel saying "BUT...I HAVE AN AUTOMATIC REMATCH CLAUSE." It's also done at very random and sporadic times.

Monday Night Raw

It's a bit daft, they aren't going to drop the title after a few weeks. I can't remember the last time a meaningful title was dropped on the 'rematch clause'.

My view on it is that's it's extended more bad fueds than good ones. Most of 2012 was nothing but Sheamus and Big Show and it was a horrible year for that belt.

It was either Big Show vs Bryan and Henry, Sheamus vs Bryan, Sheamus vs Del Rio, or Big Show vs Sheamus.
