Would Wrestling work if it was taped like a normal TV Show.

Would Wrestling work if it was taped like a normal TV Show and special effects were added?

I thought the Foley RocK Superbowl Match was a bit cheesy. But the WWE could do some amazing things with Special Effects imagine having a Vampire Wrestling who jumped 40 feet in the air

No. Live audience IS wrestling. Off the top of my head I cannot think of anything else that relies upon an audience so greatly.

This is what I was thinking. WSX did over the top things for their entire run which lasted about two months. And anybody who saw that knows how well it turned out. Wrestling is an soap opera, not a Michael Bay film.

Absolutely not.
Filmed live in one take is one of the things that makes it special.
Change that and you fundamentally change the entire product.
It becomes something completely different.

The first episode was pretty awesome. Great matches and audience reaction. Didn't see the others (have it on my computer actually). And the 'special effects' in that were pretty minimal, like WWE having electric surges or something.

The crowd is everything. Without that wrestling is just crappy choreography. A never ending sports movie.
