Re: Bret Hart: HHH not in the "Top 1000"
And the burial continues....
Bret's just showing the hatred on his sleave now haha. Come on man get a hold yourself, not in the top 1000 of in-ring performers? That's insane lol. He's probably in the top 100 let alone not in the top 1000 .
This quote from Bret is my favourite though
Quote:

In regards to the 13-time World Champion one day taking over for Vince McMahon as the head of WWE, Bret admitted, "let's hope he can, but if he can't it won't be any great surprise to me. I've never seen any great genius come out of him at all."

 lol
I remember HHH and the IWC in a war of hate. He even mocked the IWC one time saying to a crowd he doesn't tell people how to flip fries at McDonald's or something, so why they act like they could tell him how to do his "job". HILARIOUS stuff and I actually liked him during the "Reign of Doom" the IWC dubbed.
You know in 1999 people were saying HHH wasn't over as champion and they forced wins his way after SummerSlam trying to get him over. It wasn't until his street fight with Cactus Jack did people start taking him serious. He then kept getting hotter and hotter in the year at Rock's peak of popularity and the wwe bringing in top level workers like Benoit. The IWC fell in love with him and fans started to like him in 2001.
Then it went right back to the IWC hating the guy again. It is quite funny seeing some online come to his aid when they wanted his head in 2003 lol

Bret has the right to his opinion. I do think he's being overly critical, but his reasoning is right, just his conclusion could be a little softer.

Just reading this is weird. HHH filling Vince's shows. Not his SON, but a wrestler who married into the company which old school law was for the promoter not to mix with the talent like that. Quite ironic.

This is gold. I love it! Bret Hart just went up in my books. Stir that shit, Hitman! Yeah, buddy!
Triple H Vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania? "Meh, 4/10."
Triple H in regards to the all-time greats? "Meh, not top one-thousand."
Alberto Del Rio? "Great wrestler, honored to be compared to him."

Re: Bret Hart: HHH not in the "Top 1000"
I didn't watch the video, but HHH is very entertaining in the ring. He uses psychology (more so when he's a heel, cause of no shitty face comebacks), and yeah.....
He's no Shelton Benjamin, but that doesn't fucking matter to the WWE, because they release guys that are fantastic in the ring (like Benjamin) and keep Mason Ryan.
How's that fucking fair? Is Ryan 5 leagues above Benjamin on the mic? Because he sure ain't in the ring.

Amen.
His 2007-2010 babyface run made me stop watching WWE for a while. It was very boring as compared to his Evolution and Corporation run. He just kept on burying, and burying, and burying people. Of course, it all stopped when Orton beat his ass
In 2011-2012, I started to like him again. He's actually pretty good playing the authority-figure.
