Re: Why not push Asians or guys who were big there?

Though not Asian, Chris Benoit, Chris Jericho, and Eddie Guerrero were all pushed to the moon at multiple points in their career. Interesting that whenever WWE/WCW went to Japan they always got the biggest pops because the crowds respect their athleticism and ability.

No. No. No.

First of all, Tatsu is going to need some new music. That is an absolute, indisputable truth. His theme music right now is worse than any Diva's on the roster. You already know you can't take him seriously before he even comes out. I guess you could solve that problem short term by teaming him with someone like Kofi, thereby eliminating the need to play his music. But he still has to show what he can do in the ring, and he still has to get on the mic and give fans the chance to get to know him.

WWE seems to be doing something right at the moment by abandoning the monster Tensai. It can do him nothing but good to spend some time as a goofy face who is not afraid to be a little vulnerable. No one right now is taking him seriously as a monster heel, and he accomplishes nothing as a jobber. Bloom devoting some time to take the character in this different direction will help him in the long run here in the US. Fans are starting to get behind him a little, and when he starts turning his frustration against the heels who are going to mock him, it turns him into a sympathetic character who resonates with kids and others who understand not being accepted for being different. That way he is forced to be taken seriously by the fans, who deep down always want to see a monster face destroying heels (see "Ryback"). Which in turn fuels his character for an eventual turn back into a monster heel. Since they accepted him as one, and stopped the "Albert" chants, they will have to at first accept him as the other. The rest will be up to him.

Oh yeah them Japanese truely see it as art.

If WWE ever goes back a good card I think would be...

Ziggler vs Kofi
Tatsu vs Morrison(if he ever returns)
Cesaro vs Punk
Colons vs Usos
Rhodes vs Sin Cara
Bryan vs Rollins
Kidd vs Gabriel
Orton vs Ambrose

I like all these guys cause they are good in the ring. Ambrose isn't as high on my list as the others but he sells the moves better than anybody I have seen in many years.

Yes. This is what they should have done from the start.

Spot on with Tensai but Tatsu could easilly take Kofi's spot as the happy midcard face if Kofi ever moves up to main event. He's got all the in ring tools but hasn't got the chance to show it since his time on Superstars. As for his music, I agree, it's God awful. While I'm sure with the push and a good song he could be a great midcard face, I kinda wanna see him take on a dark Samurai type Heel gimick. The only concern would be his size but he's 6'1 or 6'2 so I think he could maybe pull it off.

Re: Why not push Asians or guys who were big there?

atleast the NWA had it's share of Japanese champions.

WWE can easily have some inter-promotional shows with new japan or all japan, but vince just likes it the way it is. He wants to have full control over everything, that's why we get these stupid names like mason ryan and tyson kidd for example.

Tyson Kid was an homage to Dynamite Kidd.

The Original Plan for Tyson Kidd & DH Smith was to be known as the Canadian Bulldogs.

No clue why you think Mason Ryan is a stupid name. Ryback is a stupid name

You're just wrong. The Japanese market shrunk massively. The Japanese don't care about wrestling half as much as they used to. It peaked in the 80s in Japan.

Same thing happened to MMA in Japan. That peaked in the 90s.

Both faded due to the rapidly aging Japanese society.
