Really? Possibly the greatest gimmick of all time if you actually think about it. (Except for Taker)

Firstly, 50% of the universe worship him in this gimmick, which is saying something. The other 50% despise him. And we have a unique dynamic, because love or hate him we aren't going to have anything like this again for a long time, with such an energy and a 50/50 split in the arena's.

People love to love him, and love to hate him. To simplify this, it just makes for great TV, and everybody has an opinion.

To take a Punk analogy, in 20 years time people are going to look back at Cena's reactions and think "Damn, there just isn't anything like that anymore these days".
