I'm going with the Cesaro Rugby player background?

WTF is the point of this. Rugby isn't that big in Switzerland and its not like Cesaro uses the gimmick. Why not just say he was a big deal in Europe who was banned from several leagues for being too agressive

I think that is why they are trying to get away from that part of his gimmick. Because it failed, but at least he has overcome that terrible gimmick, which is what true stars do. I mean just look at how the rock and austin started out in the WWE, both terrible gimmicks. I am not saying Cesaro will ever get as big as the rock or austin, but he is on his way to becoming a star. I could see him being on the level on a Dean Melanko.

Wade Barrett as a bare knuckle fighter. Nothing wrong with the gimmick itself, but it's pointless if they're not going to present him as one. He should be wearing jeans instead of wrestling trunks and winning matches by KO. He should be challenging people to car park fights and brawling with anyone, anywhere. But no, they just have him as a generic wresting heel.
