Re: The WWE needs a New Supernatural Monster like UT or Kane
I believe that the "in this day and era" is simply wrong. Like I said before 3-5 years before we still had a great variety of gimmicks, looks etc and people react to them. There was in 2010 with Jeff Hardy out of the company, NXT and the spread of the gimmickless guys in generic attire when people started to get used to it and say gimmicks are "outclassed".
But that only lead us to a boring and uninspired product. Want it or not wrestling is more like a comic than an actual sport. It's all about likable and striking characters and stories and when the company is full of wrestlers who look the same, have the same personality(or lack of it), etc etc the prowrestling concept itself is severely damaged.
Because of all of that, I want to see Corey Graves, Leo Kruger, Kassius Ohno, Connor O'Brian and Bray Wyatt in WWE. It's evident that while main programs are in TV writers hand who must think "OMG wrestling character are ridiculous realistic characters with bland personalities and looks are much better", NXT is guided by people who know what wrestling is. That's why NXT has old school gimmicks.
