Not a main eventer, but a grat mid card to upper midcarder.... the guy gets more reaction than the rest of the mid card combined and that's without any sort of push. I got the vibes that HHH and Vince don't like him because he doesn't need them to get over with the fans.

I think when kane pushed him off the ramp it was pretty much over for him.

He got himself over but his gimmick is too lame to go anywhere with. He got his small run and people were fed up of it quickly. But his dedication to get over when he could have been released like so many is admirable... and what he should do now is try and reinvent himself in a way that's more relevant and more likely to lead to success.

I don't like Ryder's anything special, but the WWE's refusal to use him, shows that this "grab the brass ring" thing that Vince & HHH are often quoted as saying, is utter bollocks.

Without any help from the WWE, Ryder managed to get himself to being one of the most over wrestlers in the WWE... hell, at one point there were We Want Ryder chants during while (a recently returned) Rock was in the ring.

WWE don't want people to use their own initiative to get over.
They want the people they want to push to use their own initiative to get over.
