this is the same guy who spent millions on a senate race he was never going to win, then they cheap out on pyro at the start of raw, anyone see the problem here, the old man is out of touch and when he comes out its not the same as it was 10-15 years ago
and of course he disvalued the title, punk was the man who kicked out of multiple AA's and beat everybody in front of him, then a movie star comes in on a weak finish and beats him
im starting to understand why i was never a rock fan to begin with, now thats he's here every week his act is getting stale and annoying, plus he's a bodybuilder now, he was gassed within 4 min of that match, doing rest holds that early
and hbk left for 5 years and came back and never looked rusty at summerslam 2002, rock is the GOAT right? well he never looked it last night
forget supercena, its superrock, guy can barely talk then appears in the ring and beats punk with a spinebuster and weak elbow
same corny crap, he just adds a new joke in the mix every week
then a movie star comes in on a weak finish and beats him
and this is where you don't have a clue, he's not just a movie star its not like they got Ben Affleck to come in (or in WCWs case David Arquette)and win. this is the Rock a guy who is probably still a bigger draw than CM Punk and Cena, a former WWE champion and someone who has done it all in the WWE.
as for the peoples elbow he has finished so many top level guys that are and will always be better main eventers than CM Punk or Cena with it so its really not that weak of a move.
It's sad that WWE has to rely on superstars from the past
The only big star they have is John Cena. That's a fact, whether you like it or not. Randy Orton or CM Punk are nowhere near his level in terms of drawing power and popularity. Before you jump on me and call me a troll, hear me out. I'm not trying to bash the current roster, I'm a big fan of guys like Cody Rhodes, Antonio Cesaro and others. Cena will have to retire sooner or later. Let's be honest here, who would buy a PPV to see Dolph Ziggler vs Daniel Bryan (just an example) for the WWE Championship? No one. They keep bringing back superstars from the past like Brock Lesnar and The Rock (both feuded with John Cena, coincidence?), because they're desperate. I just don't get why Vince is still focusing on Cena. I know some see Ryback as a new hope, but I've lost my faith in him... He was a failed experiment. They completely fucked up with him. Lol Ryback as the top guy in 2015? That sounds ridiculous. WWE is digging their own grave. 2014 will be a disaster year for the company. Ratings will hit new lows. You guys think 2012 sucked? Haha. Get ready for worse.
Re: It's sad that WWE has to rely on superstars from the past
Cm punk is the only reason I watch the wwe and at this point I think he draws more then Cena. How many heels gets cheered over the rock? Punk is. How many faces get boed over anyone? Cena is. Tell me who the draw is? The only people that come to watch Cena are little kids and even they are getting sick of him at this point.
Re: It's sad that WWE has to rely on superstars from the past
The thing is what can they do? they had punk beat Cean THREE times during his title reign, they [pushed guys to the moon, for one reasson or another they dont pan out
The ICW always blames wwe creative when they dont get over, ever think maybe its not them its the stars? they just dont have what cena has, Cena has "it" he can be hated yes, but he, unlike evreyone else, its imposible for you to "not care" 9Many claim to but they keep talking becuse they in fact do) this is not so for most of the others
and this is where you don't have a clue, he's not just a movie star its not like they got Ben Affleck to come in (or in WCWs case David Arquette)and win. this is the Rock a guy who is probably still a bigger draw than CM Punk and Cena, a former WWE champion and someone who has done it all in the WWE.

Probably? The Rock is 5 times the draw Cena is and 100 times a draw that Punk will ever be.

CM Punk chants were louder than Rocky chats last night... just sayin'.
And I would buy a PPV with Daniel Bryan in the main event, but that's just me. Im a rare kind of wrestling fan this days, I actually like wrestling not sports entertainment. That's why I pray every day of the week for Punk and Bryan to switch to UFC/MMA and leave this retirement's home for part time wrestlers company for the good!

well if it were just Bryan vs Dolph it wouldn't be worth 40 dollars, for a much lesser price then OH WAIT wwe ppvs tend to have many more matches and a show you pay for tend to OH I DON'T KNOW HAVE OTHER MATCHES THAN THE MAIN EVENT WORTH A LOOK SEE
but then again with the lack of demand in wrestling nowadays especially compared to ufc then maybe wrestling shouldn't be on ppv anymore
d'you ever think of that?
