Title Belts Gone South?

Maybe this isn't an important topic to most, but does anyone feel like the actual belt designs now a days have gone sour compared to late 90's early 00's? I especially abhor the current WWE Title, looks like something a rapper should be wearing, not a World Champion. Which belts were your favorite throughout the eras? Maybe my favorite design throughout the years was Stone Cold Smokign Skull Design.

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

I personally like the spinner wwe champion ship belt it almost started a new evolution of wwe belts you have to remember wwe isnt real so you cant expect the belts to look actually professional this isnt ufc.I think the belts can look preofessional and creative at the same time so they dont look so dul and boring like the older one you displayed before. Not to mention the new tag team championship belts reverted back to the old fashioned design doesnt really fit in with the new evo of belts (spinner belt and divas) they should have just left them the way they were.Looks like some garbage they found from the 80s or something......

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

I wasnt a fan of the smoking skull... the WWe havent had a good looking belt for nearly 20 years

These were my fave ones though

Its the detail and classic look that I liked, makes them look like they were sculpted and crafted by roman gods unlike the current ones which seem to be crafted by the lolly pop men.

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

I've always thought the Smoking Skull would have fit better as the Hardcore Title.

I can't stand Tyson Kidd. There I said it.

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

Even when in WCW, the big gold belt was my favourite. Just look at it, it's the ultimate world title belt. Looks class.

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

I don't mind the Spinner now but my favorite is the Attitude Era globe one and I quite liked the US Title as well.

Is Big Gold the WCW one still?

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

Other than Cena's spinner belt, I don't really mind the rest.

Re: Title Belts Gone South?

The World Heavyweight Championship belt is the single greatest belt ever made in wrestling. It's better than the WWE , or anyone else, has ever created. It's the definition of prestigous. It may not be worth a damn anymore, but it still looks the best.
