Rock is big draw. He will lose his appeal if he starts wrestling in weekly TV matches against random mid carders like Ambrose who casual fans don't give a shit about.

And his promos are entertaining no matter how repetitive it is. There is a reason most people call him one of the best mic workers in WWE history.

Because money. Duh. If you want to see The Rock wrestle, you have to pay for it. Why would they give that away on an episode of Raw that nobody pays for?

The Rock is to big for weekly matches + it gets more tickets sold when ppv exclusive.

as much as I love to see Rock wrestle on RAW or SD, I understand why he's PPV material only

guys like Rock, Taker, Brock, Triple h have reached a status where RAW is much beneath them, think of them as the China platter that your parents only use during special occasions and dinner parties, when everyday you eat lunch on normal plain plates

That's stupid. Why in the world would they put someone of The Rock's star power in secondary storylines? Do you realize how retarded that sounds? He was brought in to be a big time star, have dream matches, and make the WWE a lot of money. Also, did you ever think if he was to win the championship, he'd drop it at Wrestlemania?

Talking isn't the same as wrestling. A large part of the Rock's appeal is his ability to talk, that isn't going to make him stale. When you're going up against the WWE's biggest star in the main-event of some of their biggest PPVs, you don't go out and waste your time fighting mid-carders. There's really no point in him doing so anyway. If he does wrestle any midcarders, he's going to win.

he is a commodity for the WWE, thus he should only be used on PPV matches or at least, high caliber ones on free TV, you don't give such high rating exclusives so easily for free

not arguing with you there, but I'm on the side that thinks relying so much on the the rock and past stars will really hurt the product in the long run, even the reliance on John cena has crushed them when it comes to elevating new stars, heck, right now even relying on Cm punk is doing such

I can agree with that to an extent. But the fact still remains that The Rock is a huge money maker. And if you have the chance to make a lot of money, you don't waste it by putting a hot commodity in usseless secondary storylines. The WWE's got over 7-10 months before the part timers start showing up, if they can't do anything with their current stars with all that time, then that's their fault.
