I thought Bryan was the best guy(certainly the most over) in the tlc match vs the Sheild which was one of the best matche WWE had in 2012. How is Bryan miles below them are you talking from a karfabe perspective? That's like saying Edge is miles ahead of Regal as a wrestler because of title wins. Angle has better mic skills than Bryan and that's it. For a gold medal winner Angle's mat work never was that impressive to me. He would rather brawl and throw 150 german suplexs than build a logical coherant match.

Angle worked with the best roster in wrestling history, and all he learned from them was to be a one trick pony indy movez/near falls guy.

Daniel is doing it without them. So he's already heaps better.

Is he the greatest ever ? No not really , but he's way better in the ring than Shawn Micheals who's only thing was to sell , oversell. But anyway that are just opinions.

I like DB he's a fantastic wrestler and knows how to play the crowd. Has a different look and is improving on the mic.
Please, get your facts straight, Fact . Steroid users work extremely hard to achieve their bodies, beeing on them makes it possible to work harder, longer and more often due to faster recovery aswell as allowing them to digest more protein for muscle growth at a time and an increased metabolism which can result into fat loss, if they are on a clean diet. I've never seen a natural do a workout routine that impresses me, because we natties have a limit of what consistutes "hard work". In fact I'd dare to say that any natural weightlifter that thinks working out with natty limits is hard work is a lazy, undisciplined POS, after a few years natural training because easy as fuck. The only hard part is the diet, and cardio.

You can pretty much see if somebody is natural or not if he does actually lift hard and doesn't end up in overtraining aka still gaining muscle instead of losing them/stagnating at best etc. That of course, only applies to bodybuilding, olympic weightlifting should be much harder, even as a natural but that's not what wrestlers go for.

Agree with the rest though for the most part. Baffled by the idea that D Bryan is overrated, only Aries had a better workrate last year and that's partly due to D Bryan beeing in a tag team, partly due to Aries beeing awesome but if Nr.2 makes someone overrated (and still Nr.1 by WO ratings) then I don't know what to say.

- no, he couldn't, but he can be the part of a "Big 5-6" group that's pushed hard, and advertized aggressively

- yes, he should, it would put him over massively

- yes, at least a transitional one

- yes, he is

- yes, he is

Daniel Bryan makes everything work. "Yeah, he's overrated and let's hate him."

I'm a Daniel Bryan fan, but they are really making his character corny and predictable right now. A lot of people are thrilled he's gotten a big spot light and finally gets notice from the casual fans, which is a good thing, but I think the WWE totally over did it, and have turned this guy into a Eugene/Santino Marella type of character. I don't see this translating well into the main event scene, in fact he seemed like a credible contender for the title during his Punk feud, but after which, he's been relegated to comic relief in the tag division and he doesn't really look like the star on the team lol. I really don't see him becoming the face of the company in this role, unless they make changes to his character down the road.

TLC 2012, Extreme Rules 2012, Over the Limit 2012, MITB 2012 all say hi. His performances in those PPVs were amazing. Every other PPV wasn't great for him because he was in average tag matches where he had to play the role of punching bag for the opposite team until he tagged in Kane. Summerslam and WM 28 were the only PPVs where he had single matches that weren't great in 2012.

I agree, the yes/no thing has run its course and become cringeworthy. Just let him be more natural and his promo quality would go up a ton.

It's not his fault he's being given a comedy gimmick in a stagnant division with only 20 minutes of in ring action a week, spread across three shows whilst sharing the spotlight with Kane and whomever he is facing. He's proven when he's gone one on one and given a decent amount of time (Sheamus, Henry, Punk) that he can produce top caliber matches, he's just not been given these opportunities yet.

In terms of mic skill/charisma... I'd like to see anybody else pull off the shit gimmick and character he has eben given and still out-pop 99% of the roster night in and night out.

He's probably one of, if not THE best ring worker in the company, he's got tons of charisma, he can talk on the mic and people might bash him for being small or whatever, but his looks is great when you consider it makes him a fantastic sneaky heel, or a great underdog face. So no, he's not overrated at all in my opinion. He's one of the most complete superstars in the company.

I couldn't disagree more, Ziggler and Punk are the most overrated from what I have seen, Bryan is not overrated at all he is a great wrestler there is no doubting that. As I was saying I am a big Ziggler and a big Punk fan but they get bigged up more than they deserve especially Punk.
