Bret said a few times in his book that he liked when he got a good match review in his book. I don't remember him listing it among his "greatest accomplishments", although we all know that Bret has more than a healthy ego when it comes to his career. I can't comment on Flair, though.

I'll admit to not being an "expert" or a die-hard follower of the product, or having even seen more than maybe a dozen bouts, but of the handful of NJPW matches I've seen, I felt like I was just watching sequels with each passing contest. To me, nothing stood out from the others I'd seen. And I don't just include the Japanese product in my viewpoint - I'd say the same thing applies to luchador promotions. Seen one - seem 'em all.

Just one man's opinion, regardless of how butthurt it seems to make those that feel it has to be defended at all costs.

Kaz and Daniels by far the best tag team, and Joseph Parks got the right award too. Goes to show that TNA is doing both a lot wrong and right lol. RAW is an exercise in masochism, to be honest though I thought Smackdown should've gotten that award.

Wrestler of the Year: Hiroshi Tanahashi (NJPW) - CM Punk is the only right choice to this one. Tanahashi wrestles in a company that has 2 or 3 big shows a year. How is he better than a guy who's been champion for the entire year and has been saving RAW from mediocrity for months.

Bruiser Brody Memorial Award for Best Brawler: Kevin Steen (ROH)
Best Flying Wrestler: Kota Ibushi (Dramatic Dream Team)
Most Overrated: Ryback (WWE) - Overrated by who? He got pushed big and got over big. Had a good and a great match on PPV, plus a great TLC match on RAW. He rose to the ocasion when needed.
Most Underrated: Tyson Kidd (WWE) - Has the charisma of a brick and couldn't get over if his life depended on it. Johnny Curtis is the most underrated guy in wrestling, ever since his time in the old NXT.

Best TV Announcer: Jim Ross (WWE) - 14 time winner in this category. - How many matches has he called? William Regal is the best announcer right now. JBL is a close second but returned too late to be considered. Ridiculous choice.
Worst TV Announcer: Michael Cole (WWE) - 4th consecutive year "winning" this category - He's been better as of late.
Best Major Show: King of Pro Wrestling (NJPW) - Really? Better than Extreme Rules? I've watched some of it but just can't get into it without understanding the commentators and those really silent crowds. And to be honest some of the matches are not as good as people make them out to be.
Worst Major Show: No Surrender (TNA) - Didn't watch but has some tough opposition.
Best Wrestling Maneuver: Kazuchika Okada - Rainmaker (Wrist lock into a short-arm lariat) (NJPW) - Can't understand why. When Neville debuts on the main roster he'll win this every year.
Most Disgusting Promotional Tactic: WWE broadcasting a dead Jerry Lawler being revived after a heart attack, and then having CM Punk and Paul Heyman mock the heart attack in front of Lawler (WWE) - Not a big deal. There's worse and more offensive stuff out there.
Worst TV Show: WWE Monday Night RAW
Worst Worked Match: John Cena vs. John Laurinaitis - Over the Limit (WWE) - Santino vs Rodriguez Tuxedo Match?
