20 seconds of glory. Put the guy in the Hall of Fame already, Vince!

(that is heavy sarcasm for those who have defective sarcasm meters)

I still don't see people's fascination with this chump. The pure essence of a career jobber, if he's that lucky. Absolutely awful. In fact, he makes Ryder look decent by association.

Brad Maddox's current story is that he's desperately trying to get a job in the WWE. He was a referee... but according to my TV screen on Raw, he is no longer employed and snuck his way through the audience (without any security guard even in sight) to show his face on the program. If repeating "I'm Brad Maddox and I'm going to be famous" is owning the commentary table then I guess it doesn't take much.

Honestly, maybe the guy could be interesting if he wasn't presented as such a boring, redundant, and useless jobber. But to expect me to care about the storyline I've mentioned above is just silly. It makes no sense at all... literally, none whatsoever. Yes it's no news flash that WWE is scripted but what the hell is that? Maybe they believe that their audience is stupid?

Anyways, I'm sure he's going to play a role in the Rock vs. Punk Match this Sunday.

Re: Could Brad Maddox start commentating full-time?

I have to say, I watched last week's Main Event and thought he did great on commentary. He was so random and he took a commercial break when there wasn't supposed to be one. During the "commercial break" he started asking Cole about the weather and everything.

It was pretty hilarious. I really like him on commentary. Could you imagine him and Punk as broadcast partners?

Does anybody have a link to the Main Event that he commentated on?

I really like him at the moment but see him ending up as a manager if anything.

I think Maddox will be a big star in the future. I think there are a lot of people against him right now, but he has the tools it takes to succeed in WWE: a good look & a great talker.
