It wasn't the main event of that show, regardless of whether you consider it more important or not, the main event was the title match. Rock/Hogan should've been the main event, they fucked up BIG TIME on that.

Nevertheless, if they put a match in the midcard, it's a midcard match. It doesn't magically become a main event by having main eventers in it. That's my point on Punk/Undertaker.

Undertaker will most likely return on an episode of RAW/Smackdown to someone flapping their gums about how they have done it all in this business, Undertaker's signature bell sound will then wave the stadium and he will challenge that superstar.

Right now, The most likely opponent is CM Punk which kinda disappoints considering they have already had matches in 2009. They were decent i'll admit but nothing compared to what kind of a match Lesnar/Kane/Cena/Rock could put on.

With Cena, I am not talking about his wrestling ability but the hype surrounding the match but they will probably save a match of that caliber for WM30.

For this year, The 4 opponents that might face taker are:

CM Punk
Brock Lesnar
Rock
Kane

I really do like the Undertaker... but as soon as he kicked out of the Sweet Chin Music/Pedigree super duper ultra finisher combo, I think that just says that he wont lose to anything at WM. So it's pointless to think anyone will beat the streak and therefore him and his match has lost all of the aura about them. He simply can't be beaten and there aren't any guys really capable of giving him a 5 star match in the company that has the cred to beat him.

Sure Daniel Bryan is one of the best in ring workers the company has, but he doesn't have the cred, so it will let the whole match down, and Bryan will just eb another victim. The last guy to beat Taker clean in a memorable match was Kurt Angle, and he is happy at TNA, so I really don't think we will ever see a loss and therefore his matches no longer bare any real appeal to me anymore.

Its not so much about seeing him buried.Its about me looking forward to see how the build this up and for the record losing to Taker in a streak match isn't getting buried,people misuse that word.

After a 433 day title reign, ANYTHING but facing Rock in the main event is getting buried. This match is FILLER, just like all other non main events. I'm sick of Punk not getting his WrestleMania main event. MIZ has one and Punk still has to settle for Undertaker? FUCK. THAT.

Settle for the Undertaker? The 2nd most important match at worst isn't that bad. While I actually agree CM Punk deserves his shot against the Rock in the main event, don't devalue Taker like he's nothing because regardless of what you say that match is important to a very large group of people, even though the outcome is already decided.

To be honest though, if he were to announce he was retired and would not wrestle again, I wouldn't complain. He's given us an entire career full or memories and amazing moments.

As you can probably tell, Taker is my favorite wrestler of all time.

He'll be back in time for Wrestlemania 29 to face Punk, beat him, then after that, he will rest up until 2014, return in time for Wrestlemania 30 to face Cena, and if what I have been hearing is true, he will lose to Cena, and then retire.

I'm pretty sure if you asked punk he would be happy to have this 'worthless filler' match against one of the greatest legends in wwe history. I'm pretty sure shawn michaels is also pretty upset with having those filler matches at WM 25/26. You know? Those matches that people still talk about to this day instead of these so called 'main event' title matches that you're on about?
