Re: Would Shane McMahon the main eventer be well received by fans?

Like many people have been saying: back in the day...possibly.

Shane was very talented in many areas of this business. He had a great feel for working the audience, was great on the mic, wasn't afraid to bump and wasn't terrible in the ring. However, he played the role that was required of him...being the boss' son. I don't think that was a sustainable model for the main event. An occasional main event appearance? Sure. But not sustainable.

Blood. Urine. Vomit.

Can someone tell me where he went btw?

Not removing until,
Heel Mark Henry returns []
John Cena turns heel []
Wade Barrett gets buried by someone of little importance. [X] Bo Dallas
Dolph Ziggler cashes in and wins WHC []
Chris Jericho returns... Again [X]Royal Rumble 2013

I believe Shane McMahon will be a part time wrestler and have a heel persona in 5-10 years after Vince passes.

Runs a media firm with a lot of ties to China. I think he also was a sports agent of some sort for awhile, with a couple golfers like Rory McElroy as his clients.

Yes because WWE can book anyone to be well received by the fans.

much as we'd all love that

Shane is done with the WWE

he's doing extremely well and China ties is all money at this point

I'd go so far as to say the only ties Shane will have left with the WWE is if his media company helps or plays a big role in launching the WWE Network

business-wise folks, not a feud angle or storyline i'm talking purely from a business wall street standpoint
