Stone colds pops were phenomenal back in 1998/99 and on a regular basis. No one today compares to attitude era pops.

As for Rock316AE, surely you can't think he has any credibility left? Did you not see him get mauled a couple of months ago in this thread? It made for great reading. I recommend going back to look over it. Bigwwefan1980 tore holes in him and exposed his sham arguments and flip-flopping, and the GOAT thread has been a Rock316AE-free zone ever since.

Guys like Stuart82 and Bigwwefan and a few others just dealt in too much logic and had too many facts to hand for him to be able to handle it.

Biggest pop I ever heard live was Backlash 2000 when Austin returned and then again when Rock won the title. As for all time; it's Stone Cold. He got tremendous pops like no other. Right now, it's down to Cena, Orton, and Daniel Bryan in terms of biggest pops on the active roster.

Considering different eras and all that I think that maybe Triple H could be a contender. He had quite a few of those comeback moments when the crowd went nuts.

Rock had that too but he was gone for so long that it's hard to say how the crowds would have reacted if he cut a promo in 2005.

Austin and Hogan kind of overdid it and they don't have the same credibility with the fans anymore.

lol @ people saying Bryan.. I know he's all you guys' favourite and all, but just tone the worship down a bit, it's unbecoming. I think peopple just enjoy chanting "yes" more than Bryan being actually over that much.

Obvious answer is Cena, he's the only person wh oonsistently gets a reaction. Doesn't matter if it's heel or face pop, he gets a reaction and that's all that matters in the context of the question.

Orton is also impressive, in that he hasn't been in a major angle for about 3 years now, but he still gets a pretty consistent and loud pop.

On a consistent basis I'll probably go with (Rock and) Austin; his music makes the term pop what it is; that said, as always Austin marks lie and say "no one comes close".

Rock and Austin probably IMO have had the loudest pops I can think of; on many Raws and smackdowns. Rock fans feel free to post the vids to back this up before Austin fans say "rocks pops are like snisky compared to Austin"
