I don't get the Drew Carey mentions. The celebrity wing of WWE's HOF is obviously a joke. Not sure why they started that to begin with, but it's there and the list of high caliber celebs that worked for them in a physical capacity is slim. Expect Mickey Rourke in there too. It's just how the Cookie crumbles.

As for the OP question. Yes, Orton will make it into the Hall of Fame. Not only will he make it because he's deserving, but because he's been a high profile main eventer for them, and that's a major sell when you want to spotlight the show. The only reason he'd be left out is if he was on bad terms with them ala' Bruno, Warrior and Savage.

Bruno doesn't want in (they're begging him), and Savage's widow won't let them induct him (and somehow has a say in it).

True, but that still qualifies as being on bad terms. Savage was not on good terms with the WWE for a very long time, he made up with them (or so it seemed) at around the time when he shot the commercial for WWE: All-Stars.

you mean his brother Lanny Poffo wont let WWE put Savage in? Owen Hart is the one with the widow who wont let WWE put him in..

Yeah, The Dude makes a good point. I remember reading about Lanny's claim that Randy wouldn't go into the HOF unless he (Lanny) and their father went in there with him.

Still get KeepinItReal's point though, the induction IS plagued by those allegations. That doesn't change the fact that Savage was not in the best of terms with them years before his death.

Of course he would, he's a multi time world champion. He's been THE top heel on THE main brand in the WWE, he's won the Royal Rumble, he's defended his title at Wrestlemania, he's been in a Wrestlemania main event (as awful as it was) he's pretty much done it all in terms of career. He more than qualifies for the HOF.

Question is irrelevant, he'll get in because he's a "Vince" guy.

I really wish people would stop citing Drew Carey as a reason the Hall is a joke, he's directly stated as a celebrity inductee. He takes nothing away from the hall as it's a category reserved for notable celebrity appearances and not for wrestlers.

The HoF is easier to get into than Kelly Kelly, of course he is a Hall of Famer.
