The knowing Punk personally thread, while turning into a joke thread, had a lot of great stories in it, here are some of my Punk stories that didn't make the cut:

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

In 2006, if you would've told me that The Miz would one day hold the WWE championship and actually headline a WrestleMania PPV with the WWE title, I would have laughed in your face. I never would have guessed that The Miz would become a WWE title holder let-alone headline a WrestleMania PPV.

The Miz wins this thread. First time I saw him I was convinced he'd be released in about a month. Not only is he still here, but the guy has won a wwe title. Respect tbh

Kurt Angle. He got booed in like his first PPV and not in a good way.

Edge. I stand by what I said about him in that I think he got incredibly lucky. If he hadn't of got the Rated -R gimmick, the attire, the ultimate opportunist and all the plot drama that came with it. I think he would just got released for being injury prone.

Hornswoggle.

JBL is a big one. When I returned to wretsling in 04 I couldn't recognise him. He fitted that American republican gimmick brilliantly.
