Default How WWE will (likely) treat spoilers in the future

If anyone has seen on facebook...WWE has asked several questions regarding spoilers on their site and people have been voting on the poll.

When asked where people get spoiler info from...Social media site(facebook/twitter) was in lead(option of "i never seek out spoilers" finished 3rd)

When asked about if WWE should reveal spoiler info, the option of yes(cause fans should know about these things when they happened) was in the lead, though didn't win majority(option of yes(but if WWE warns people about potential spoiler) and no(so people can be surprised) were about tied for 2nd)

When asked about if people are more or less inclined to watch a show if they know results, majority voted for less inclined.

When asked about thoughts on spoilers, majority voted for "I don’t like spoilers.I want to be completely surprised by everything."

So based on this, could we be seeing WWE adjust to this shortly? I could see them just opening a twitter account JUST for spoilers, so fans who don't wanna be spoiled, won't get spoiled. The two big ones I think WWE will consider alot would be how lots of fans said they have less interest if they know spoilers, and lots said they hate spoilers in general.

Who knows, maybe in future, WWE might be doing more of these polls(to know what aspects of WWE the fans like and don't like). Don't get why they won't. Some companies out there would do anything to have the amount of social media activity from it's fans that WWE has, so WWE should be utilizing this. Companies pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to do these type of polls and research, and WWE can do this for free(and could get hundreds of thousands of people voting on these polls)

Interesting.. I would like to see how WWE handles these results. I don't believe they can prevent spoilers completely.. But they can restrict it to a certain extent.

I don't think it was done so WWE can prevent spoilers(meaning stopping fans from posting spoilers and all that), it was more done so WWE knows how to handle posting spoilers in the future(after seeing all the heat they get on facebook/twitter and even wwe.com about posting the Del Rio spoiler). Maybe even post spoilers of their shows every single week, but have a specified section for them(so if fans want to see spoilers on wwe site, they can, but if they don't want to, they won't).

Cause most WWE fans use facebook/twitter for more than just WWE stuff, so WWE knows fans are more likely to stop following WWE on facebook/twitter than not use either site, since they'd rather continue to go on those sites and not have things spoiled in WWE, over not go on those sites to prevent spoilers.

Why don't they just ask SciFy to just move Smackdown to Tuesday and let it run live.

Production costs mostly.

WWE must have taken some backlash with the Del Rio spoiler.

It costs WWE the money to have show live, not SyFy. Live or not, I'd rather have it LIVE on Thursday than Tuesday. Give people a break between Raw/SD. 5-8 hours of any non sports show in 3 days, seems like alot.

Then in other countries where 8pmEST is middle of night/early morning Friday for them, they could have it both live, and on Friday nights like usual.

Also SyFy most likely doesn't want Smackdowna gainst heavy competition and like its Friday spot

Jesus OP, I had to reread that like four times to figure out what you were saying.

I don't understand why they can't just let people who want spoilers get them off dirtsheets like always and let it be. I'm not at all a fan of spoilers so that shit pissed me off. I can't imagine I'm the only one who was like WTF when I saw it.

I hate spoilers period but was extra mad when I log on to Facebook and see that they spoiled their own main event.
