Which WWE wrestlers do you think will have won a world title by the end of 2015?

Btw, I know Dolph Ziggler technically won his first world title several years back by having it awarded to him, and then losing it minutes later to Edge. Dolph Ziggler himself doesn't count it, however, and I figured no harm by putting him in the poll anyway.

Out of that list the only two I'd care to see win it is Cesaro or Ambrose, and maybe Ziggler.

Since the thread is who WILL win the title I went with Cesaro because he's the most complete package in terms of what :vince gets hard for...

And this time I get it cause Cesaro is the total package... And his ring presence Is beyond everyone else on that list already

Btw, there are on average 2 first-time world champions per year, counting WCW/NWA world titles. Since the brand extension (2002-present), there have been 20 first-time world champions in just under 11 years. And, there have been 57 new world champions over the last 25 years (1988-present). So, I picked five guys.

I forgot he was coming back. I should've put him in there. And an 'other.'

Well, he isn't confirmed yet, but I'm assuming wwe pulled their heads out of their arses and rehire this guy. Give him a world title reign and let him push some young talent over at the same time.. Shelton Benjamin could really put depth into the roster..

Let's be honest, the reason Cody hasn't won a world title after all these years is because he's not the type of person you give a major push to, he's skinny, he doesn't look like a star, he's decent at best on the mic, he's reasonable in the ring but he's not a Daniel Bryan level guy where he can overcome his deficiencies. It's not about build up through the midcard titles, Cody Rhodes hasn't gotten build up to take the next step. He's held midcard titles but he's not been used to where you can see a next level in sight, he's like Kofi, what they in the back would refer to as "a good hand".

Jumping right in to the shark tank is FINE. Absolutely fine, it's all about finding the right person to give that push to. As much as we hate Ryback, if you're looking for a guy to main event off the bat, it's easier to give it to him than Cody Rhodes, and he's gotten over, so clearly it worked. That's all that matters, for all the huge lack of talent he has, because he has an image that WWE can sell to people, Cody doesn't have that.

Ryback will hold a world title this year, so will Dolph, Wade has very good odds as well. I would say Antonio has good odds to win in 2014 so0 long as WWE takes notice of his potential. Rhodes is kind of floundering even though it looked like 2012 was going to be his big rise to the top of the card, I just don't feel like any of SHIELD will make it either, as for the rest, they will never touch a world title now that WWE is upping their standards a bit more. (no more Swagger champs)

Ryback soon and Wade Barrett in the near future, hopefully.

Ziggler and Ryback we know for sure.

Cesaro cuz he is already getting a good push right now, no way he doesn't have a world title in 2 years.

Reigns due to his size, no doubt Vince will try to push him the hardest when The Shield depart.

I wanna say Sandow, Ambrose and Rollins all might, who knows. But unsure any of them will that soon.

Shit, nevermind that, they push him the hardest NOW. Rollins is just there, and Ambrose is the bitch of the team for....some reason, and has to take all the finishers. Every time they get fucked up, it's always Reigns that breaks in and gives them their advantage back, Reigns always controls the Powerbomb spot, etc. Writing's on the wall.

Yeah, that's him, Chris Hero.

I don't know who's better in the ring, because I haven't judged enough of their matches, but he's excellent in that regard. Really, they both are.

He's for sure better than Rollins on the mic, although that's not saying much, and he's one of those guys where the opinion is split. Some people think he's amazing on the mic, I think he's sub-par, that's just me. I'd rather have seen him debut than Rollins, but really, I got no time for either of them.

Apparently, the reason I've heard that WWE hasn't called him up is because they're not happy with his appearance, he has a gut and they want him to get ripped because that's what a "proper" superstar looks like in their mind. I don't really know if that's true or not, but I assume there's something to it because otherwise I can't imagine they wouldn't have called him up in The Shield with the other 3. He's been in Florida almost a full year, so he's pretty much adapted to the WWE style as much as he's going to, plus he's 33, which pretty much means if they see him as any part of their future, they gotta push him NOW. You can't be having no 33 year old with 13 or 14 years of wrestling taken out on his body just coming in at this moment. I mean, Punk's only a year older than him, started basically at the same time and he's talking about retirement in 2015.

enough with these who might be champ threads... for all you know tommarrow WWE could sign a guy like brock lesnar or two years from now, or three years from now. or Ryback blows out his knee and has spinal surgery, who knows a major injury could befall ANYONE on the roster. Just like ANYONE can piss off Vince or the people in the back and winde up fired. It is Impossible to say who will be WWE champion in 6 months let alone a few years.

As for guys like Tyson Kidd and Brodus Clay... come on man fpalm. never gonna happen, If either guy even holds an IC or US title would be a miracle in and of itself.

Antonio Cesaro will be World Champion by the end of the year, he's my pick to win Money in the Bank this year.. Hopefully Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow go back to being singles wrestlers after WrestleMania, Wade Barrett SHOULD be World Champion this year. I'm tired of waited for him to break out to main-event status, he has everything it takes to be a top guy in WWE.. and Zack Ryder hopefully won't be in WWE by 2015.

Cesaro - because he deserves it, and looks the part.
Ziggles - he has the case, and will be a huge babyface.
Ryback - unfortunately.

The rest are going to be hampered by booking decisions, so no way to predict.

People I think will be certainly World champions by 2015

Ryback
Dolph Ziggler
Antonio Cesaro

Not sure about Wade Barrett or Cody Rhodes, I just think these are going to be two people who are going to be the new 'big stars who never achieved the big one' type of superstars

Not sure about any of the Shield members though, Seth Rollins though will be a great mid card guy. Ambrose will probably win the big one but its hard to say whats going to happen right now. Its down to WWE booking :S

So jobbers, basically. There is no such thing as a "big star" who doesn't become world champion in the PG era, and even if there still was, they didn't win the belt so they don't matter whether they're so called "stars" or not.

Rhodes will eventually become world champion, not by 2015 I'm betting, but eventually. Barrett will never make it because....well, you already know. Shame, he's too good to waste a failure of a career on, we need more failures to be Dolph, Swagger and Morrison level guys, not the Barretts and Sandows.

I went with Ziggler, Ryback, Cesaro, Ambrose, and Damien Sandow. ALMOST picked Wade Barrett, but I just don't think he'll make it there. I think his promos are all kinda the same and his in-ring ability doesn't really make up for it.
