That friggin move...

When Rock pushes Cena on the ropes and bends down to do... something.

I'm watching wrestling for like 6 years and I honestly can't recall that shit being performed successfully. It's so ridiculous, EVERY SINGLE TIME it's countered with a kick to the chest

Does anyone else get annoyed by that as well?

R.I.P Damien Sandow's career. Thank you for all the memories.

Re: That friggin move...

I think the backdrop has become extinct. It used to be performed regularly back in the 80's and 90's but now it's just a move that allows your opponent to counter.

Re: That friggin move...

I think it needs to be countered with a running Canadian Destroyer. Would be sick.

Re: That friggin move...

I know what you are sayin tho OP they do it alot in wrestling I agree.

Its like Ric Flair going to the top rope. He goes up there and is ALWAYS reversed and either thrown or slammed off the top rope he NEVER does an offensive move from the top. just watch his matches every time he goes up there you can call it "hes gonna get taken down before he jumps"

“Look, let’s start with some tough love. You two suck at peddling meth. Period. Did you not plan for this contingency? I mean even the Starship Enterprise had a self-destruct button.... I'm just saying.” –

Re: That friggin move...

I believe The Rock was setting up the Stationary Spear, that's right. Instead of running at Cena and then spearing him, Rocky made Cena do the running and then lowered his head into a spear position so Cena would run into his head.

Innovating on the greatest stage of them all :Rock

Re: That friggin move...

Unless you're wrestling Ric Flair, you'll never connect with that move.
