Re: The greatest promo you have ever seen?

Austin's 3:16 promo from King of the Ring '96 is still my favorite.

Punk's pipebomb from 2011 is a close second and definitely the greatest promo of this era.

Could it be Toronto?

Probably my favorite, right up there with the 2005 HBK heel promo in Montreal. The Canadian crowds are great.

Is it bright where you are? Have the people changed?

Talent/charisma draws. Not size.

I can never find it online, sadly, but Mick Foley's Anti-Hardcore promo from ECW circa 1995 will always be my favorite. If not subsequently tied with the Cane Dewey promo too.

You suck the blood of the afflicted.

Re: The greatest promo you have ever seen?

One promo that I liked but rarely gets a mention is CM Punk's promo where he sings Happy Birthday to Rey Mysterio's daughter.

Anybody that says Punk can't go beyond shoots should watch it.Punk was as creepy as one can get and that on a PG show

Re: The greatest promo you have ever seen?

Another personal favorite if only for the line about Ric Flair and Triple H:

The WWE dropped the ball on Christian around that time. He could have really blown up with Tomko if they let that Cena feud become something big.

Also, djmathers1207 brought this one up but Bret Hart's snap-out promo on Vince McMahon after losing the title to Sid in 1997. Special props to Sid for his "I don't know sh!t" line when walking to the ring.

Re: The greatest promo you have ever seen?

That Bret promo was killer. When he shoved Vince down and went off, one of the best promos that year.
