Maybe I'm just looking at the thread differently from everyone else. I'm not looking at it as "who was the best champion" because then it's just another "post your favorite" thread which is completely pointless. I'm looking at it as "when you think wrestler, what image pops in your head?" To me, when I think wrestler, I think of a big, hulking guy. Not a dude that drinks beer and flips people off. Not a guy barely six-foot tall.
Hogan was 6'8", 300lbs, rip, chiseled, jacked, super tanned. That's what a wrestler **IS**
That's not to take away from guys like Harley Race or Ric Flair, that were great champions. But Hogan had that larger-than-life feel. So when I think who is my champion of all-time, it's the dude, to me, synonymous with pro-wrestling. And Vince McMahon, Jr. is the reason why pro-wrestling is perceived that way.
Nothing against guys like Austin, Rock or even Punk. But when I think wrestling champ, I think Hogan. I think of showmanship & promos & steroids, not workrate.

This man right here:
Bret Hart was a great WWF champion. He carried the WWF title with pride and respect, also putting on tremendous matches in his WWF title defenses with the likes of Shawn Michaels, Diesel, The Undertaker, The British Bulldog, and many more. He made the WWF title seem worth fighting for and would do what it takes to win the WWF title to become the best. Not to mention his heel run as the WWF champion in 1997 which reeked of awesomeness. Heel or face, I would never get bored with a Bret Hart title reign.

Lawls at punks votes. Fanboys gotta make sure he wins everything huh  dudes not even top 10 all time greats but marks can never see past there fave.
For me there are too many to chose. I think Triple H is a GOAT as far as title reigns. Gotta give credit to Brock, Bret Hart, Macho Man, Rock, Guererro, Kurt Angle, Jericho, Benoit, Kane and the wrestling god JBL
