Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?
Considering some of the people in it, I feel that the fact I have attended a live event every year for 23 years means I am HoF worthy. Therefor Punk certainly is.

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?
He'll be remembered for a long time regardless, but yeah he has already earned it easily.
And for those looking down on Koko B. Ware... he might not have had a lot of accolades, but people that saw him remembered him for years and years. So maybe his spot is actually kind of earned. Actually, there are a lot of guys that stick in a lot of people's minds that some that weren't there just wouldn't understand: Rick the Model Martel, Koko, the Bushwackers, Doink, and even guys like Venus/Goldust from the AE. There are just characters you remember for a long long time even if they didn't do as much as you'd want for a true sport HOF.

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?
Yes, he's a seven time world champion(though I'm pretty sure WWE only recognizes him as a six time champion) and is now arguably the most enduring WWE champion is history (He made some good points recently about why his reign could already be compared to Sammartino, Morales and Hogan. For a while in 2011 he was more over than their poster boy, John Cena. He's also the first and only person to win Money in the Bank twice, pin that up along with all the other big feuds he's had over the years, he will absolutely be leading the class of 2016 presuming he retires in 2015 as he's mentioned he's planning.
In 2006 they tried to pass him off as being a somewhat well known rookie upon his debut, yet he got a standing ovation the moment he stepped into the ring.

WWE Hall of Fame never had any prestige other than being a publicity stunt for Wrestlemania.
Basically anyone in WWE can make into hall of fame.

How is this even a question, no shit he's a hall of famer, it doesn't even matter if you don't like him, even those with the lowest possible opinion of him will say that CM Punk is Hall of Fame worthy.

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?
I wouldn't put him in the HoF but than again I wouldn't put 90% of the current hall of famers in there that are.
On second thought idk the title reign is pretty impressive, I'd have to think about it.

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?
I voted no because I thought you meant right now today. He is definitely a future Hall of Famer, but the WWE HoF is a joke anyways. The more serious ones will no doubt put him in in a few years. My guess would be 5-10 years from now. He will be retired by then, not that he needs to be. For the record, he was a future Hall of Famer before his current reign, he didn't need a year long reign to pull that off.

There should be no doubt. Look at a full list of the hall of fame. Now you can see there is no reason for him to not be in it.
