Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?

Another generic HOF fame topic where people devote a lot of energy into how valid a HOF with Vince Sr's limo driver being inducted is.

If Koko B Ware is in the fucking thing, doesn't that answer your own question with a little common sense?!!?!

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?

Of course he's "worthy"! What a ridiculous notion to think otherwise!

Koko B. Ware is in the WWE Hall Of Fame. I repeat - KOKO B. WARE IS IN THE WWE HALL OF FAME. This automatically means that virtually ANYONE with even a morsel of WWE fame or notoriety is eligible.

All smartass comments aside, Punk is a certified HOF inductee if he were told to stop wrestling tomorrow. Six World Titles, that career-heightening promo, a long list of top-quality matches, the longest WWE Championship reign since Hulkamania, I needn't go further.

I'm a Brock Lesnar Guy.

To those that say CM Punk will "definitely" get in the hall of fame, don't forget that politics play a part.

6 time champion Randy Savage hasn't been inducted nor has Bruno Sammartino.

Yet other far less deserving inductees have.

I'd say just for his first pipebomb promo he is. I think it changed to an new era in way. He paved for many indie guys to get in the WWE. Also, him likely facing Taker at Mania this year will sure make him worthy.

better than the best.

Randy Savage declined multiple inviations to join.

Legendary wrestling broadcaster "Mean" Gene Okerlund joined Inside The Ropes this past Thursday and divulged that the late Randy Savage declined WWE's multiple invitations to join their Hall of Fame.

When asked why the "Macho Man" isn't in the Hall, he responded, "Are you telling me that the WWE hadn't made an overture to Randy about being in the Hall of Fame? That's BS. They asked him many times and he declined. For whatever reason, that's what I'm still trying to figure out."

Bruno Sammartino declined as well:

Re: Is Cm Punk hall of fame worthy at this point in his career?

Yes. Multiple time World Champion, current longest reigning WWE Champion of the past 25 YEARS (that alone would probably get him in) Two time MITB winner, IC Champion, ECW Champion, Tag Team Champion, memorable feuds with the likes of Undertaker, John Cena and now he's feuding with The Rock. He's getting in.

He's the longest reigning WWE champion of the post modern/Hogan era.

Enough said.
