Anyone that votes no is just trolling or stupid. Just to get into the hall of fame you don't have to do much at all.

A more interesting poll is whether Punk will go in as a first-ballot guy.

If he was to get into a car crash today an loose a leg I do not think he should be in the Hall of Fame. I do think he is pretty much the best in the business right now but I do not think there is enough material in his body of work right now but he is damm close. I realize WWE is an entertainment company not a sport so a hall of fame is more window dressing than anything else so they don;t really have too many standards for admitance but I guess the pure fan in me wants there to be some standards to be maintained.

Well yeah. WWE HoF standards are horrendously low.

Most of the roster probably qualifies as HoFers already.

Dink the Clown should be put in the HOF. RIP Dink. RIP.

This

Thought I'm not surprised at how many people have voted 'no'

Just go back to that Einstein quote I guess.

WWE Hall of Fame, yes. He's had a legendary match with Cena and held the title for over a year + he's on the good side of a lot of the people who matter in the WWE.

Yet other far less deserving inductees have.
Savage's wife won't let him, Bruno doesn't want to be entered, and judging by Punk's reign I'd say Vince likes him. I think ppl aren't aware of the HOF's low standards. There used to be few world champions, but still, A LOT OF NON-WORLD CHAMPIONS are in the HOF. So, Punk's definitely in.

The question really is will he be one of the one or two guys who are the showcase guys for that class, to sell that yr's ceremony/broadcast. I'd say yes to this as well, frankly, cuz he's one of the two most popular guys of his generation (2011-???), but we'll see if Ziggler or somebody else enters that discussion as well. Still, will probably headline his class for business reasons, especially if Chicago hosts a Mania/HOF ceremony. WWE would love to milk that market, and they love Punk.
