In 3 years who do you see holding the titles.

Who will be the title holders at this time. And 3 people who are vying for the title as well (5 for the majors). Also just for the sake of discussion I'm going to throw in the cruiserweight title as there has been some discussion on it returning.

Tag Team Titles- R-Truth/Kofi Kingston
1- 2 aging upper midcarders
2- Seth Rollins/Roman Reigns
3- Zack Ryder/Santino Marella (Team Cobro)

Intercontinental Title- Dean Ambrose
1- Damien Sandow
2- Heath Slater
3- Drew McIntyre

U.S Title- Tyson Kidd
1- The Miz
2- Christian
3- Shelton Benjamin

Cruiserweight Title- Evan Bourne
1- Sin Cara
2- Justin Gabriel
3- Future Talent

Diva's- I actually have no idea
1- uh
2- uhm
3- yeah

WWE Title- Daniel Bryan
1- CM Punk
2- Cody Rhodes
3- John Cena
4- Dolph Ziggler
5- Sheamus

World Heavyweight Title- Wade Barrett
1- Ryback
2- Randy Orton
3- Antonio Cesaro
4- Alberto Del Rio
5- John Morrison
^^ He's confirmed to be returning at some point this year. Perhaps even during the Royal Rumble. Shelton Benjamin is rumored.

The veterans trying to win the U.S Title is due to my hope that the WWE will at least make an effort to add some worth to that belt. Cesaro is doing an ok job of it so far however.

Re: In 3 years who do you see holding the titles.

I don't know who's going to be holding the title one year from now much less 3. I guarantee that if you asked people 1 month ago who the WHC would be at this time, the consensus would not be Alberto Del Rio.

I'll toss around some names as likely main eventers or title contenders/potential world champions within the three year timeframe.

Ryback (within a few months actually), Reigns, Ambrose, Cesaro, and maybe Daniel Bryan and Rhodes.

Nobody else looks set up too well at this point.

In what way are they better set up than Sandow? Rhodes is overshadowed not only by Sandow but by a bit of hair on his lip and Bryan, although a former World Champ, right now is a jobber to the midcarders, he literally ALWAYS loses.

I agree on the 1st four though, I'd add Bray Wyatt to the list too. The jury is still out on Big E, he could go the Ryback way or the Mason Ryan way.

I realise where they're going and that WWE will push Roman Reigns straight to the top. However for me, Dean Ambrose is by far the most talented in that group and I think eventually if they just give him the spotlight then he's going to shine. As soon as he touches a mic everyone else can just sit down as he's magic on it. So It remains to be seen, I think they're all talented but to me Dean was the star of that group. I think Roman looks like the star of that group but I don't think he's nearly as talented as Dean.

Re: In 3 years who do you see holding the titles.

Ambrose, Kidd, Bourne, Barret and Bryan?

The hell? Is every title the cruiserweight title in the future? All cruiserweight guys t here besides Barret. I definitely don't think that's going to be the list. I sure as hell wouldn't be tuning in weekly to see that. That ain't the only thing I wanna see. Isn't even the first, second, or third thing. No disrespect to any of those wrestlers or cruiserweights.

I'll name 6 other people I think are are more likely to be holding titles at that point: Sheamus, Ryback, Ziggler, Cesaro, Punk, Cena. Good chance for Sandow too. And probably someone else new/isn't on the roster now by then who impresses. Bryan's the only one on the OP's list who is actually impressive imo.

Well, for one thing, once you're a former world champion, you automatically have an easier time to get back there. That's just how it goes. If you're Jack Swagger or Great Khali maybe you don't, but for a typical world champion, holding the title practically guarantees an easier path back to it than your average midcarder, which Sandow, talent aside, is an average midcarder. Regardless of how much he stands out from the pack, he's not being booked like Cesaro or anything like that, he's just another guy on the roster who's continually sent out there to take the bullet. So is Bryan, but with him, it's a bit more like the Jericho role in the sense that if they needed a credible loser, he can fill in whenever they want him to and he's so ridiculously over that it's never going to fail. As for Cody, all you have to do is look at how they book them and you'll see that Sandow is the bitch. Rhodes's name is in the team name, Sandow takes almost all the losses they suffer, Cody picks up almost all the wins they get, and is generally booked as the Kane of Rhodes Scholars to Sandow's Bryan. The mustache isn't going to hold him back anymore than he already would've been, his mustache is one of the most over things in the company, so I'm not seeing where the harm comes in. It's like how Cena would make jokes about Sheamus's skin as a heel, if you have something to make fun of him for to get over with the crowd, it's a positive.

As much as I see money in Sandow's gimmick as a main event heel, WWE will just look at it and say it can't main event, even though it can. If he changes the gimmick within 3 years, then MAYBE I'll change my mind depending on where he goes with that off him, but I can't see a big run for him with this gimmick, and it's not because he can't work in the main event with it, in fact I would never take it off him because it's so brilliant and I'd give him the WWE title with the gimmick anyway, but they will look at it and see it as a midcard gimmick. This gimmick is dramatically hurting his upward momentum as much as it's probably the best character he could ever do.

Big E is black, so he's handicapped. He will be a world champion but not within 3 years. As far as Bray Wyatt goes, I think he's doomed in the same way as Sandow, where his gimmick is such that he won't hold major titles. I don't even know how he can hold ANY title with this gimmick, to me it just doesn't seem like a title gimmick, and again, it's not because I would have any hesitations about it, but I think WWE won't understand how this gimmick can facilitate a major title. Besides, supposedly Vince McMahon is pulling his usual shit about DEY GOT HAVE DEM MUSCLES on him and not calling up Wyatt with a lot of the other guys because he's fat.
