Re: IWC cliches

Constantly claiming a wrestler sucks despite evidence of the contrary, and despite any advances in skills or character. For example, at least 90% of the forum was shitting on Morrison before and after he got fired. Possibly even 95%. Most were too timid to even post that he was good because you'd get blasted by 5 or 6 other posters.

Most of the forum never gave him any props at all. Now many people are on his nuts to come back because now that he's gone they realize how good he was. All because they're too narrow-minded to give anyone a chance since they go into it thinking they suck to begin with due to other IWC members.

This also works in reverse. I think if popular opinion is in one direction, a lot of posters on here are sheep and just follow along since they don't have the balls to come out and say otherwise.

Calling a wrestler the "best", or "best" at something. . .simply because he's their favorite. Do people really not understand the difference between calling someone the "best" and their "favorite" anymore?

It is actually, and it always has been outside of and for a few years after the attitude era. The target age group dropped over time, the further we got from the attitude era, the more it was becoming geared towards younger males (mostly young teens) until they finally just switched it to PG.

contact sports are not for children, whichever way you spin it WRESTLING IS AT ITS CORE A SPORT

in the 21st century if its for kids then its potential goes down the tube apparantly

things change and sometimes they really just should even if they don't

Yep, its calling booking. He has fifty dirty losses in the past yr meant solely to appease the Cena haters, AND he has far more clean losses than Batista/Rock/Austin.

Completely agree. I HATED John Morrison, and I still think he's a scumbag in real life, but g-d damn it he had CHARACTER. I want him to come back and get his ass kicked. How did I not see this at the time???

My one issue with the IWC is that if you don't like the guy, but other ppl do, forgive the guy for getting airtime. I can't stand Randy Orton, but I see people like him, so he should be on TV a lot. Same goes for John Cena; the talent and popularity is clearly there. If they're holding other guys back, complain. I'm upset if Orton gets title reigns at the expense of guys with more talent, but in no way has Orton done that; we've had fifty new champions in the last few yrs, so lack of opportunities is not the problem.

WWE favorites: Punk, Sheamus, Lesnar, Ambrose, Rollins, Reigns,
Del Rio, Orton, Bryan, Ziggler, Wyatt, Usos, Cesaro, Mysterio, Kane
DGPW: Doi, Yoshino, Tozawa, Yamato, Dragon Kid, BxB Hulk, Ricochet, Super Shisa
NJPW: Okada, Nakamura, Styles ROH: Briscoes, Fish and O'Reilly, Young Bucks
All-Time: Rock, Punk, Lesnar, Angle

Sums it up about right. I was thinking repressed homosexual. Or perhaps sexually abused. Something definitely not right in his ever looking and needy for attention ways.
