rock said in order to establish himself as GOAT he needs to beat cena/hogan/austin, and he did, now there's one more hill to climb, taker's streak, ending that would make him the king of the hill kayfabe wise

taker needs a big time match after his hbk/hhh matches, this doesn't even need to be for the title, just two icons seeing who is better

it would get fans talking for sure, of all ages AE or current, and rock would be a legit threat to end the streak

and it works if taker wins as well, it wouldn't hurt the rock, they can have a respect ending

cena is the only other one i can see taker face at this point, with cena maybe turning heel

then if rock faces taker, cena/punk can have there big showdown at mania in the main event

Rock can face Taker, but under no circumstance should he end the streak. He has nothing to gain from it, despite it being the biggest "title" (if you will) in the business today to end it.

That being said, I'd be absolutely psyched for that to happen, but not at Wrestlemania 29. WM29 have Rock beat Lesnar, and Taker beat Cena, and then Taker beat Rock at WM30. That's my ideal path for Taker and Rock.

I'm sure the match would be awesome but it wouldn't be the right call to move towards that direction. There would be so many better possibilities for The Rock and Undertaker. Would rather see:

The Rock vs John Cena II
The Rock vs John Cena vs CM Punk
The Rock vs Brock Lesnar

and for Undertaker:

Undertaker vs Kane
Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar
Undertaker vs John Cena
Undertaker vs CM Punk
