interesting. I'm not really familiar with him but after watching his moves on youtube all I can think is "Look at all these cool moves WWE won't let him do."

Absolutely love that WWE has been bringing in all this great seasoned Indy talent recently. I shudder to think about the future of WWE if they had relied on the WWE-bred guys.
To be fair, Sin Cara is a real luchador. El Generico is a white guy pretending to be a luchador.

El Generico is a very talented wrestler, but I'm not sure if I can be happy with his signing. WWE has already hurt the wrestling industry by creating a monopoly. I feel that cherry picking all the big name indy wrestlers will only hurt it further.

This. But hopefully he makes it BIG TIME over there. He will be missed.

El Generico may be from Montreal but he's also from Mexican descent, so she has a point! I'm most concerned with WWE signing all the best indy talent and continuing to strip their movesets down to nothing .

Is that a bad thing though? Lets face facts here: american fans don't give a shit about mexican wrestling and luchadors, Rey is the only one who is over in america and thtas because he spent a long time in WCW and WWE in high profile matches. If El Generico can talk on the mic and get over, he will be more successful than Sin Cara ever could be in WWE, fake luchador or not.

I wonder if they will completely repackage him, remove the mask and all.

Re: El Generico signs with WWE

Probably a good thing he joins WWE and gets his moveset watered down , before he kills someone , some of his moves are too dangerous and there was even a few botches on that video that was posted in this thread , besides i cant really imgaine anyone other than maybe sin cara being too keen on facing him to sell his moves , which may cause him to just end up jobbing .

‏@OfficialPWG
Even though he's injured, El Generico insists on being at PWG for DDT4! He's back in the tournament with Kevin Steen!

I don't like the idea that El Generico (or ANY masked wrestler) could "render Sin Cara (or any other masked wrestler) useless". I would rather WWE possibly keep both of them around, rather than just keeping one to be the "token lucha guy".
