Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
I don't care if he ends up as Santino's tag team partner. He's gonna get over no matter what. The best babyface wrestling has had for the last 5-6 years deserves a chance to win some good money and showcase his awesomeness to a larger audience.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
The closest I feel to El Generico in WWE is Kofi Kingston but even thats a bit of a stretch due to Generico having more charisma and being better in the ring and Kofi having a better look and more appeal to the casual audience.
Anyway hope WWE treat him right as he deserves at least a good I.C title run.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
If this is truth i congratulate him and all of that but the real question seems to be:
What the fuck they will do with him? and they will keep the mask?
i have faith in him, but WWE seems to screw with people who get over out of his own terms, see Ryder for example

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
Wow. Wait till they put him and Claudio in the ring together again. My word. This is rather shocking. Between him, and Pac, and people already in developmental such as Steamboat Jr. if the WWE is bringing back the Cruiserweight title or just starting some new junior heavyweight division then I have high hopes. And am completely down for such things, especially with Rollins, Mysterio, Dragon, both Misticos, Tatsu, Gabriel and Kidd on TV as we speak. Interesting prospects for the future I suppose. Add Bourne to that mix as well if he ever gets healthy. Quite the collection of smaller amazing wrestlers the WWE seems to be building.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
I can safely say that WWE right now has a better roster of indy guys than an actual indy company. I just hope he gets a farewell match at PWG or something.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
Definitely excited for this, can't wait to see him breakout and make it. He's been working hard for years in just about every company besides the WWE.

So happy for him, but terrified that they'll waste him.

El Generico signs with WWE

"WWE has done it again. According to PWPonderings (in a special podcast), "multiple sources have now confirmed to them" that indie wrestling god, and one of the best wrestlers in the world, El Generico, has just inked a deal with WWE. El Generico recently pulled out of PWG's DDT4, and now we know why. The signing continues WWE's trend in the past couple of years of signing up the top talent from the ranks of the indie circuit to fill up its roster. El Generico joins the likes of Antonio Cesaro, Dean Ambrose, Kashius Ohno, Seth Rollins, and Adrian Neville as recent indie acquisitions by WWE. For those of you unfamiliar with El Generico (shame on you) I will provide you a primer on him soon. Until then, here is a taste of what is coming to WWE: OLE!"

I'm not too sure how credible the source is, but if this is true it's AWESOME!
Now they need to bring Kevin Steen and give him a Samoa Joe push.

Re: El Generico signs with WWE
This is excellent news, but like with PAC they need to allow him to wrestle (partly) in his own style, a watered down El Generico won't have the same impact. It's another step in the right direction though.
