Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
Yeah, sign this dude, bring in some more little guys (especially if they don't speak English), bring back the Cruiserweight title! Because WWE needs more reason to be compared to WCW~!
Ryback is Goldberg. The Shield is the nWo. We're going to get a cruiserweight division. NitroRAW is 3-hours long. WHO IS GOING TO BE STING!?

Walk-In, something is seriously wrong with you. All you do is bitch and bitch and moan and piss.
If I could see some bright light in a Generico signing then pretty much anyone else can.
Oh fuck! Was D-Bryan that damn vanilla? Even as world champ?

No idea what they'll do with him, but I'm stoked he's in the big leagues!

How great does WWE look by 2015 with Triple H leading the way for development? I honestly do not understand those who immediately shit on a guy because he came from the Indy world. To me, it's comparable to an athlete in any of the big 4 sports going undrafted and getting noticed a few years later after putting up big numbers in the minor leagues. It happens all the time. I applaud Triple H's new direction. It's good for business especially when the other option is to find some NFL reject or bodybuilder who hasn't a lick of experience as a wrestler. Don't get me wrong, that can work at times but why not dip into the plethora of experienced talent that is at your disposal? The indy's of today are the closest thing to the territories of the past.
I see nothing but success for Generico in whatever role he is given. He will meet or exceed expectations with merchandise sales alone. Can't wait to find out who else is on their radar.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
Rightfully so if true. He is easily the best talent left on the indies since both Bryan Danielson & Nigel McGuinness left the indy scene. I just don't know if I like his chances in the WWE enviroment. He isn't big and a lot of his offense wouldn't work on larger oppenents in a believable manner, they'll probably strip him of his gimmick and replace it with something stupid(er), and he doesn't talk so I have no idea if he has real mic skills or not. He'll probably be a sympathetic jobber who will get himself over but not get a push unfortunately.

Probably TLC. ROH did a show in NYC that same day and had Steen vs. Generico in a ladder match earlier in the day. The Hammerstein was sold out with over 2,000 and most of them probably took the train to Brooklyn for the show.

You've obviously never seen even seen a video of the guy you're judging.

Re: El Generico Signs With WWE
forgive me if this is stupid, but I thoguht El Generico as white? I saw an ROH match with him and Claudio/Antonio and the crowed chanted "Ole" and "Hey" for each of them back and forth and it was a fairly entertaining match which I rather enjoyed but I walked away assuming he was simply a white luchador. Was I wrong?
