I've never seen any of his matches, but I've run into his name quite a bit. Seems like a very skilled high flyer based on the top 25 moves of El Generico posted earlier in the thread. I cringed at some of the moves on there, because they seemed dangerous. I'm sure his move set will be restricted, but there's no reason he can't do some of the more basic powerbombs and moonsaults on the video. I could see his lack of size keeping him the in midcard though. Even Punk's bigger then him.

Have you seen many Generico matches? He's a very talented guy. I don't see many people here are delusional enough to think that he'll be a main eventer, but he would be a great addition to the midcard.

And while we're at it WashingtonD, who would you have the WWE hire? I'm genuinely curious.

My honest take on Generico. I don't care about his size because that's not what he's about and the Generico character is meant to be a skinny fuck.

It's his flying all over the damn place ring-work I'm not too high on and his "Oh my God! Dangerous move! Uh? kick out? Oh God! Another big move! Uh? Kick out?" Wash, rinse, repeat.

But hey, that's what NXT is for and I don't think WWE should make the mistake (like they did with Cara) and have him skip developmental cause he needs to learn the WWE style.

With all that said, I think he'll make a fine midcard act once he tightens up the loose ends. And I know this is contradicting myself but ti really wouldn't hurt to spend the next year seriously hitting the weights. Just to get a wee little bit size.
