Re: Faces of the Company

LOL, Ziggler will not be the top face of the company. One of the top faces (#2 or #3), but never THE top face. Seth Rollins is questionable too, and so is Roman Reigns. But if he is half what The Rock is, he may have a chance. But still, I doubt it. I say Alex Riley. The guy's got the charisma, the look, average-above average mic skills, and his wrestling has improved. He's a definite candidate for top face if Cena would stop holding him down.

Re: Faces of the Company

To me, it's quite possible the next face of the WWE is not around yet. All due respect to the current guys I can't see any of them becoming as big as even Cena is.

Re: Faces of the Company

Could have been Alex Riley. It's a good shout. He has the look and the mic skills. It's a shame that a certain cunt held him down, probably for too long now too.

There's no one to take over right now for Cena as top face. Punk'd be the best option, though.

Austin and Rock never shared the top spot.

Austin was "the face of the company" 98/99

Rock was "the face of the company" 00-02

Even once Austin returned Sep 00-WM 17 Rock was still doing all the mainstream appearances over Austin which is a clear indicator he was still the top man. Austin was booked better in 2001 solely bc he used politics while Rock didnt. It is literally impossible for a heel to ever be the top guy. Top heels like Hogan, Austin, Flair, Hunter just used connections to try to garner more attention on themselves and steal the spotlight that should be on the top face.

Re: Faces of the Company

Actually I think the faces of the WWF/E went like this

Sammartino backup Morales
Backlund backup Sammartino/Andre
Hogan backup Warrior
Hart backup HBK
Austin backup Rock
Rock backup Austin
