Right now i cant see someone replacing Cena maybe Ryback,as for OP Rock was the face of the company from late 99 to 2002(when he stopped working full time)

I don't think there has been anyone that was a full time face of the copany that got took over withtout them leaving. Lesnar left, Cena rose, Bret left after Mania 12, Shawn rose etc. I can't see anybody being the face of the company after Cena atm, maybe because nobody is near his level, however there's still plenty of time, he's only 35.

I see Ziggler as more of a Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels guy who carries the company through short periods but never has the full faith of the braintrust. The Miz....I know he's a pretty boy but I don't think he comes across as someone who could realistically physically dominate anyone.

I think a sleeper for WWE post-Cena might be Roman Reigns. He has the look and the company has put faith in him by placing him in the Shield.

Comes as no coincidence the only non-US born megaface was Bret, who was pushed partly because of the steroid crisis and 'cause everybody was leaving.

I think the height and/or muscle mass plays a huge part too. Son of a wrestler and/or legitimate sporting background - even better.

Lex Luger - former football player; former bodybuilder. 6' 4.

He saw The Rock as future top guy from the start. Otherwise he wouldn't have had his debut in MSG and booked to seem like the next big thing. Rock is 6'5, well built and with a background in football.

He picked Lesnar for the top spot, which didn't quite work because he was a natural heel. But Brock was very well built and nearly 6'4.

Wade Barrett and Alberto Del Rio are tall and have been booked more seriously than Miz and Dolph. But they weren't born in the US, so they ain't ever gonna be the face of the company. Sheamus might have that problem too. I imagine they'd choose Ryback over Sheamus, despite being not as talented.

Randy Orton - 6'5, well built and looked like a model in his early 20's.

It's not going to be Ryback. Ryback is not the next Cena. He's the next Batista. The #2 face who's #1 by default when the top guy is injured or involved in a midcard feud away from the belt. Aside from Goldberg, I can't really see any wrecking machine monster faces as the absolute top guy.

The top guy needs to be someone who's kind of big and strong enough to be the superhero. The top face while having some size, has to be small enough to play the little man against monster heels and a good enough seller that he can play the underdog face in peril (i.e. Cena/Rock), in order to sell the heel as a threat before ultimately "overcoming the odds". Ryback is big and strong, but his character dictates that he never look weak, so he wouldn't be good as the underdog.

Miz is not a very big guy by wrestling standards, but he has all the other tools. He has the catchphrases that fans like to chant along with. He's small enough to play that face in peril role.

As long as Orton doesn't screw up or retire young, I can see him being the top guy for a few years after Cena retires. Vince & Management still like him. Its why they haven't gotten rid of him and its why they'll be turning him heel & pushing him soon.

Roman Reigns is a good candidate. Very young with nice look, size & build. Football background so he's very athletic. He has the famous family name behind him too. He's young & Cena isn't retiring anytime soon so he's got time to develop. Considering who his family is, he probably has some great people around him helping him too. If I had to pick somebody to be the next face of the company, he would be my pick.

Ryback is the easy choice. I don't believe he'll be the guy tho. I think Vince likes him as more of the Batista role. Batista was the main event powerhouse. Not face of the company but a very good #2.

Guys like Ziggler, Punk & Miz aren't face of the company material. Not because they are talented but because of their look. Ziggler is the pretty boy, Punk is just too small & isn't even close to having the look. Neither is Miz. They Don't have the size & presence. the face of the company has to have that larger than life presence that guys like Hogan, Austin, Rock & Cena have.

The top guy has to have that top guy ability to draw. As much as people don't want to admit it, size plays a huge part in being a top draw. Look is what draws in a lot of the casual fans. Ziggler, Miz & Punk don't have that look.

Roman Reigns does have a good look, but he seems so stoic.

I think it might be Seth Rollins. He's young (26), has a good look, talented in the ring, and he's a bit more personable than someone like Reigns. Someone mentioned height, and although he's not the tallest (he's 6'1") he is the same height as Stone Cold, John Cena, and Bret Hart. The company seems to like him enough to make him the first NXT champion, first FCW Grand Slam champion, and a member of the Shield.

So tell me what you think. Do you think Rollins could be the next top face?

Dolph Ziggler isn't even my favorite wrestler, but I think he'll go down as the face of the company. He's just too damn good at everything. I feel like we're watching a well-produced movie about a Shawn Michaels/Mr. Perfect character (assuming it treated wrestling in a positive light). He's just soooo good. His entire Showoff character is just his way of promising he'll give you the best match of the night. I really really believe the guy can be the top good guy in WWE, he's the ultimate anti-hero. He's not a nice guy, but he's not vulgar or insulting like Stone Cold/Rock/HBK. He's just showing off, with great promos, the fact that he's the best performer on the roster. I think that him and Punk are the top two guys on the roster overall, and that Ziggler would probably be better as a face just cuz Punk plays the coward/liar.

Yeah, I'm a big Ziggler mark. Just have him say exactly what he's saying right now, but have it be against heels, and no more cheating.

WWE does seem to like Rollins so I won't say its impossible that could give him that face of the company push...

but personally, I hate Seth Rollins. He reminds me of a less talented John Morrison(Who I actually liked). His mic work is bad. I find his voice so annoying. He sounds like a 14 year old boy. His ring work is his strong point. Not one of my favorites but he's a decent wrestler. Could be a Jeff Hardy type babyface.

Reigns has the better look & presence. He's not a guarantee but I just think his potential is far greater than Rollins. WWE has protected him in the shields match & run-ins. He even got the pin in the TLC match. Physically he fits the mold that Vince likes. He's not there yet in terms of Ring work & mic skills but he does have the family around him to help him improve.
