Im not sure about that. More US title runs and tag champ runs would have been nice for Matt back in Attitude. But neither Hardy was ready for the big one then, and i am a HUGE jeff hardy fan. it still wouldn't have really worked. by the time he was in transition towards the upper tier of stars he was having that great feud with Edge. He did win the ECW champ in that scramble before it was officially no longer a Top Tier title, which i thought was well deserved tho.

This. So many people on here have rose-tinted glasses for Christian. I don't ever remember him being THAT popular- he was probably at his best in 2005 but he was nowhere near on the level of Cena and Batista and he never will be (like it or not). I have never once seen Christian as a mainstay main eventer.

I'd say Kane and Finlay deserved it most during that time- Finlay was great on his run and had some great matches. It is a shame he had to play second fiddle to King Booker but Booker certainly deserved a world title run too.
