Of course Vince had a very important role in making the WWF and Pro Wrestling into the business it became. But, your success is always dependent from the workers you put out on public. With Vince making Hogan his #1 guy, Hogan delivered and exceeded all expectations and literally carried the company on his back as the top guy. Of course there were other big names like Savage, Warrior or Steamboat, no doubt, but they never were on the level of starpower that Hogan had.

So you respect mediocrity?
I agree with your post thought. There is nothing special about this man and he got lucky with how things went.
Some proclaim him as 'the most charismatic wrestler ever' LOL! How is that a fact?
The guy is extremely self-centered and you should check in the dictionary the meaning of the word 'extreme'. Hogan refused constantly to put people over for years and years, because he thought of himself as GOD. The crowds we're so easy to fool back in the day, that they fell for his bullshit and ate everything up. The people obviously didn't give a fuck about how Hogan was burying the living hell out of everything and everyone.
I mean who cares as long as the superhero wins, right?
And look at him after all those years - the same fucking bastard he have always been. He doesn't give a fuck about other's, what's good for business or hell if even wrestling dies tomorrow. Hogan cares only for himself and you'd think that a star of his caliber should be something else.
Well he isn't, never was and never will be.

Was a shit wrestler. Drew more than anyone else at his time and also politicked a lot. Some people can't digest this. Think his fame and money was undeserved.

Would have been okay if he eventually lost the belt back to Goldberg but to Ric Flair of all people? In 1999? If that was the case, why not put him over in 1992? At least it wouldn't have contributed to the death of a company.

This is a HORRIBLE argument and i fuckin hate this.Almost all greats had/have thier something of doom for example Steve Austin had MIDDLE FINGER OF "DOOM"(he showed middle finger before giving the stunner)

Re: Why is Hogan hated by the IWC.
Because he was absolutely nothing the likes of Punk and Bryan are like these days (basically the perfectly manufactured IWC gods). Plus he burried a lot of talent.

I respect people that are really successful in the wrestling business like Hulk Hogan or John Cena. It's not that they didn't work hard to get to the top, it's just they were never great professional wrestlers.

Not comparable at all. The fingerpoke of doom is one of the reasons people believe led to WCW's death. The "middle-finger of doom" was just a taunt before Austin executed his finisher. Nobody fell flat on their back after turning around to meet the middle fingers. The middle-fingers is just a signature taunt, like Macho Man pointing at the sky before the elbow drop, like Benoit doing the throat slash before the diving headbutt and obviously, like Hogan's over the top pandering before going for the legdrop.
