Re: Which wrestler(s) have had the most favorable booking throughout their career

I think it has to go to Taker. I remember somebody about a year ago posted the win/loss/draw ratio of all wwe wrestlers and Taker was the highest join with Cena and Taker is nearly retired. Cena I am sure will put guys other in years to come. Who exactly has Taker made? HHH made Batista. The Rock jobbed to Goldberg and Lesnar. The only guys I remember Taker jobbing to are Lesnar at HiaC and Khali.

Every top babyface,TBH

Other than that;It's Undertaker,IMO

Rock shouldn't even be on this list. It's a crime.

HHH has practically put over the two biggest stars post Attitude Era-Cena and Batista. He has worse Wrestlemania record among all time greats, lost to Taker 2 times in a row, lost to Lesnar giving his legitimacy back after his loss to Cena.

Cena is miles ahead of his peers so I don't see anything wrong in it.

Re: Which wrestler(s) have had the most favorable booking throughout their career

Taker wins this hands down.

Taker is someone who's dominant booking legitimately turned me off the product. Now I agree that his gimmick was not a guarantee to get over. Honestly it was hokey. BUT....in addition to the gimmick they put the guy over everyone for 20 years. They had everyone sell for him like crazy. Even characters that were tough guys, badasses cowered in fear. And he took 85% of the offense in most matches. In Mid-late 90s they built up guys just to feed him so that his character won't go stale. When the gimmick started to die despite all that, they gave him a hit song for an entrance, a motorcycle and put him over talent in an even more dominating fashion. Chokeslam, Last ride, tombstone.. death of the mid-card. Then they say, "he is over." Well of course he is! It was a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Hogan I'm not sure why he has so many votes, the past decade he put lot of guys over. Same with Triple H(Worst mania record and I believe worst TV match record of all top stars with the exception of chris jericho) and the Rock(who jobbed to lesnar, goldberg, hurricane etc..).

Kane, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Brock Lesnar, Batista, Randy Orton, Jeff Hardy, The Great Khali etc.

It's come to the point where just going against The Undertaker gives you a big enough rub that you don't even have to win the actual match.

Re: Which wrestler(s) have had the most favorable booking throughout their career

Undertaker also put over Mankind in three consecutive PPV matches, got booked against crappy opponents countless times for years in the early to mid 90s, and had his fair share of losses to Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Steve Austin and Brock Lesnar. Mark Callaway is so good at his job though that even with these losses he is still able to make the character fresh and intriguing (not so much the last five years though however).

"Yes, I can hear you Clem Fandango!"

Re: Which wrestler(s) have had the most favorable booking throughout their career

I remember when Undertaker was losing matches on Smackdown.

Cena is going to be the most obvious since he is most recent but any top babyface of their era is going to be booked strong. The only negative I have about Cena is that he doesn't sell moves well. You can't put other guys over if you are getting right back up after being slammed to the mat or floor.
