Though really, everyone was expecting this to happen anyway, though much, much sooner. Among their problems, they owe WWE $45 million as per their multi-year agreement (whatever that is... or was). Vince... is obviously none too happy.

Looks like WWE '14 will be made by someone else, just not THQ.
Oh thank god!! THQ has done fuck all with the WWE series. The graphics are always the same recycled shit of every year and the gameplay hasn't evolved sice SvR 07. Really looking forward to seeing how a new developer will take the series.

Nothing in your "research" says it was a better game. Says there was more disposable income, but doesnt prove it was a better game.
During your "research" did you take into consideration the fact that WWE 12 was the start of a new game franchise and sold well BECAUSE of that and the quality of it actually could have HURT the sales of WWE 13???
I don't care, many people (especially on caws dot ws) were saying WWE '13 would sell more because of the whole Attitude Era crap. I told them that they were wrong, that WWE '13 would fail. I was, of course, accused of trolling but in the end, who was right? Me. I'm always right. And like I already stated before, your opinion doesn't really matter. WWE '12 was a bigger success than WWE '13.

WWE '13's gameplay may be slightly better, but the rest is just horse shit

I remember playing that gimmick thing and it was terrible. You couldn't chose who would win a match. If you want something that can do booking right try Total Extreme Wrestling.

I'd like to see whoever picks it up remake the season mode from Here comes the Pain. Instead of starting on heat/velocity though, you can start in NXT.

MAybe they could even re-add GM mode...

I'd be fine with a completely new game with fewer modes if the gameplay was TOTALLY overhauled from scratch. The Yukes Smackdown engine is played out and is ancient technology.

Vince will now buy them. It will be a good way to product the future WWE games controlling all the process.

He will also force them to create PG versions of their games featuring Hornswoogle.

Well...since it is supposed to be a simulation of the kayfabe "reality" of the WWE, Cena SHOULD have the best attributes.
