Also, Masato tanaka had some bad ass battles with Mike Awesome back in ecw.
I miss wcw, and ecw so much because of how much more divers their wrestlers could be with different styles. Wwe seems hell bent on stripping wrestling down as basic as it could possibly get. And, every time I see an asian wrestler debut I know it's just a matter of time before their a low card jobber. People can talk about racism in the wwe all they want for how black wrestlers have much fewer title runs than white, but asian stars are the ones who have had little chance. Being an Ultimo Dragon fan it sucked to see that he couldn't adapt to the shitty watered down style of the wwe. I'm for the most part white, so maybe my opinion doesn't mean shit.

This is a list I can agree with. Was also a fan of Ultimo Dragon (not his WWE run, though, since he was horribly mistreated), Jushin Liger and Great Sasuke.
Do we count Ricky Steamboat as an Asian? Yes, he's American, but his background is Asian.
