The knowing Punk personally thread, while turning into a joke thread, had a lot of great stories in it, here are some of my Punk stories that didn't make the cut:

1) He's my postman
2) I'm the caretaker for his swimming pool when he's on the road
3) He lives in my basement
4) I taught him everything he knows about wrestling
5) He was in my high school math class but he got kicked out for cheating off me.

Moral of the story: Everyone needs to laugh every once in a while.

There are so many, but the number one for me is Undertaker/Sting.

I can not BELIEVE that they didn't make it happen at Wrestlemania 27. As soon as that original 2.21.11 promo aired, the wrestling world was ablaze with the possibility of the dream match finally happening. With Wrestlemania being in Atlanta on WCW's old stomping grounds, they could have pulled off one of the greatest Wrestlemania main event atmospheres of all time.

And instead we got The Miz.

What a fucking waste. Undertaker and Sting definitely sits on top of the list for me.

I agree with the OP that a DX vs NWO feud would have been amazing. They missed a great opportunity to make this feud happen back in 2002 but it's pretty understandable that a DX/NWO feud was the last thing on their minds considering the fact that they were going through a transitional period at the time.

The Rock vs Shawn Michaels would have been a classic. Just think how great it would have been seeing a heel Shawn Michaels taking on The Rock. The promos would have been must-see.

Obviously, the big one is HBK/Rock. I'd prefer to see the 97-98 heel original DX HBK take on the face "People's Champion" version of The Rock. The promos would be epic. Even though Rock was a face, his promos were always very heel-ish. Add that to the promos that version of HBK had, and instant wood.

I've always wanted to see an HBK/Sting match (when Sting was in his prime) because these were the two guys who stayed loyal to their respective companies. Was always a dream match for wrestling fans. Again, give me the heel 97-97 HBK vs. face Crow Sting.

HBK/Steamboat doesn't get mentioned alot, but I think they would have had fantastic matches.
