This is so interesting. I love hearing backstage stories like this and who better to hear from than a guy who was actually there? Why not take his word when he left on his own terms? I'm believing every bit of this.
He did an interview about it just youtube tarver talks about
John cena then you should see it.

And what it made even worse was Foley's family was at ringside.

But, the funny thing is nobody ever blames Foley for his unwillingness to stay down after a set # of chairshots. He kept getting back up and asking for more and you gotta ask what the fuck is Rock supposed to do if the guy doesn't stay down. Foley is to blame in that situation.

That's the only "unprofessional" conduct I've ever heard regarding Rock though and they worked it out anyway.
Ah yes I remember that now. I always thought that happened because he got caught up in the moment. I know top guys take some liberties at times but Rock doesn't seem like he would do that on purpose. Of course not checking up on the guy is a dick move but hey.

Foley is a tough bastard, unless you had an ACME anvil to drop on him he was gonna live. I think it may have been on of those he was running on fumes and kept getting up. Rock is one of a few guys you don't really hear any negative stories about so I think it was either a miscommunication or one of those heat of the moment situations.

And who the fuck knows where guys like Kenny Dykstra or Reks or Tarver would've gone had Cena not pushed them down. Can you tell the future? Do you believe that they still would've gone nowhere if Cena had not pushed them down? Please. We'll never know what potential they would've reached or what talent they actually now because Cena pushed them down. .
Were those talents really worth anything in the grand scheme of things?

Do you hate Cena that much that you've got your blinders on to situation?

Chavo Guerrero: A charity case his entire career.
Kenny Dykstra: Mid-carder talent at best.
Tyler Reks: Jobber to the mid-carders.
Michael Traver: See Reks.

Get off your high horse here and snap into reality. None of these guys would of amounted to squat the only reason you give a damn is because Cena's name was mentioned in the twits.

You want to know who the WWE dropped the ball on? Here is a list:

Carlito
Dudley Boys (singles)
John Morrison
Mark Jindrak
Matt Morgan
Nick Dimsmore
WGTT (singles)
Umaga (God rest his soul)

Those are the type of talents that you should be bitching about getting fucked by the WWE system and not the ones who've taken to twitter to pissed and moaned about pushes they never should of received in the first place.

Re: Tyler Reks speaks about Cena on Twitter

So Cena's both a nice guy and an asshole, sounds like.....almost everyone else on this planet.

Anyway I always look forward to when a wrestler decides to speak up on the backstage happenings in WWE, it's more entertaining than the shit I get on TV every week.

Keep it up Reks

Carlito
Dudley Boys (Singles)
John Morrison (If he dumped Melina)
Mark Jindrak
Matt Morgan
Nick Dimsmore

Please. Get the fuck out off YOUR high horse. Your arguing just for the sake of arguing

And I'm going to reiterate. Does them having less talent REALLY make it right that Cena can hold them down? Fucking please. Did anyone think that Rocky Maivia or "Stunning" Steve Austin were going to make it when they first broke in? They didn't show anything special, so I guess it's right for people to just shove them down the card because they wouldn't have made it with they're current gimmicks anyway. Jesus.

Kenny Dykstra, Michael Tarver and Tyler Reks are in the same category. They might have gone on to job the fuck out, or become huge stars. We'll never know. But it doesn't make it fucking right to automatically assume that they will be mid carders forever and push them down the card on that merit.

And what about great talents like Riley and Barrett? Two guys who had everything, and then mid on, Cena kills Barrett in 2010 which he still isn't able to recover from, and Riley, who admitted on twitter that Cena killed his push he was getting mid 2011.

lol @ LordKain getting on people for acting like they know everything that happens backstage...yet he's talking about what it takes to get pushed in the WWE and how politics really work, pretending to be a credible source.

Re: Tyler Reks speaks about Cena on Twitter

Man oh man, I have to chime in here and say that some of you appear to take this backstage shenanigans a little too personally. The entertainment industry is comprised almost entirely of fragile egos, underhanded dealings, and guys/girls wanting to get ahead above all others. What goes on behind the curtains in professional wrestling is notorious for this stuff and more; all of which comes with the territory of being a aggressive, cut-throat industry built on name-making and forceful marketing.

I'm not saying I endorse guys with more power being difficult to deal with for their peers. However, there is that 'break 'em or make 'em' mentality that's always existed in the professional wrestling circuits (probably why this "Be a Star" campaign is so hilariously transparent due to the nature of its messenger). Besides, in this case with Cena, being a dick doesn't make him a bad or detestable person (unless its to those who are on the receiving end). I'd much rather take into account the magnitude of his and other's good deeds for people struggling with life, as opposed to being involved with petty pissing contests these people always seem to entangle themselves in.

Irregardless of all that, I still WOULD be pissed if some guy had it in for me for no real reason (as Reks and a few others claim). Those are the dealings of life inside the general workplace, unfortunately.
