Re: Tyler Reks speaks about Cena on Twitter
Man oh man, I have to chime in here and say that some of you appear to take this backstage shenaOxiOxiOxiOxins a little too personally. The entertainment industry is comprised almost entirely of fragile egos, underhanded dealings, and guys/girls wanting to get ahead above all others. What goes on behind the curtains in professional wrestling is notorious for this stuff and more; all of which comes with the territory of being a aggressive, cut-throat industry built on name-making and forceful marketing.
I'm not saying I endorse guys with more power being difficult to deal with for their peers. However, there is that 'break 'em or make 'em' mentality that's always existed in the professional wrestling circuits (probably why this "Be a Star" campaign is so hilariously transparent due to the nature of its messenger). Besides, in this case with Cena, being a dick doesn't make him a bad or detestable person (unless its to those who are on the receiving end). I'd much rather take into account the magnitude of his and other's good deeds for people struggling with life, as opposed to being involved with petty pissing contests these people always seem to entangle themselves in.
Irregardless of all that, I still WOULD be pissed if some guy had it in for me for no real reason (as Reks and a few others claim). Those are the dealings of life inside the general workplace, unfortunately.
